Scientists of the National Academy of Sciences presented the innovative potential of Belarusian science in Dubai

February 2, MINSK. Scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus presented the innovative potential of domestic science in Dubai, BelTA learned from the press service of the National Academy of Sciences.

"The research and innovation potential of scientific organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus was presented today at a meeting of the section "Actual Trends in Science and Innovations in Belarus" on the first of the Days of Belarusian Science, which are held at the world exhibition "EXPO-2020" from February 2 to February 3, 2022 in Dubai. At the sessions of the section, the latest developments of Belarusian scientists were also presented. Thus, the Institute of MEAT and Dairy Industry of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus presented a whole line of innovative products of its own production, developed by scientists. Among them are fermented fermented MILK products with increased biological value based on a complex of probiotic microorganisms, which are made on raw milk, dry milk products with a reduced protein content for children from 3 years old, which is produced on the basis of permeate and cream, milkand lactose-reduced fermented milk products for people of all ages, both on a low-lactose diet (after taking various medications) and healthy people. Among the new products are dry bacterial starters for the industrial production of various dairy products (cottage cheese, yogurt, sour cream, cheese, etc.), dry mixes for making ice cream.

DIRECTOR of the Center for System Analysis and Strategic Research of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Valery Goncharov spoke about the Belarusian experience in the development of the "Science - Technology - Innovation" system, as well as strategic prospects and topical solutions. Sergey Lysenko, director of the Institute of Nature Management of the National Academy of Sciences, presented new developments to improve soil fertility in a changing climate.

The delegation of the Academy of Sciences, headed by the Chief Scientific Secretary of the National Academy of Sciences Andrey Ivanets, takes part in the Days of Belarusian Science, which are held at the world exhibition "EXPO-2020" from February 2 to 3 in Dubai (UAE). The program includes a presentation of the research and innovation potential of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and negotiations with potential foreign partners.

The National Academy of Sciences is a member of the collective section of scientific, technical and innovative developments of the national exposition of Belarus at the world exhibition "EXPO-2020". The concept of the exhibition provides for the demonstration of the latest scientific and technical developments through digital means of communication - an electronic catalog (infokiosk), as well as in the form of full-scale exhibition samples. The National Academy of Sciences presented 81 scientific and technical developments from 15 subordinate organizations to the exhibition, including two full-scale samples: the Busel M40 unmanned aerial vehicle (SPC for multifunctional unmanned systems) and a 4D bioprinter (Institute of Physiology).
