Yuri Nazarov, 30 May,
Minsk . Before the board meeting of the Presidential Property Management Department, Yuri Nazarov told journalists about the areas in which the Presidential Property Management Department is directing
investments , a BELTA correspondent reports.
The first priority area for implementing investment projects is
agriculture . Last year, about 30% of the total investment by the Presidential Property Management Department was directed toward these goals. "We have a fairly large volume of agricultural production, so this justifies large investments. The main volume is our processing plants - the Pinsk
Meat Processing Plant , the Pruzhany
Dairy Plant , the Baranovichi
Poultry Farm . Large-scale projects are being implemented there," the manager said.
Yuri Nazarov emphasized that the Pruzhany district has been tasked with processing all
milk produced in the district by the end of the five-year plan. "That is, if
it is produced in the district, it is processed in the district. To do this, we need to double the volume of
milk processed," he explained.
They also plan to build a new milk processing plant in the Shklov district by the end of next year. "We will modernize the feed mill by the harvest season. We are essentially rebuilding the agroservice site - a very large, large-scale project. We are building a 40-apartment building there because new jobs are being created, we need to attract people," he noted and added that the "feature" of the project was that the new production facilities will work not only for the Kupalovskoye agroholding, which is a subordinate organization of the Administrative Department, but also for the entire Shklov district.
Smaller, but no less effective projects in agriculture are being implemented in the Brest region. "Last year, the
head of state visited the agricultural enterprise "Parokhonskoye" in the Brest region. The production of grass granules was restored there. The President instructed to actively develop this area, and this is justified. Such production began operating last year in the "Nevel" branch of Pinsk
meat processing plant . And literally in June we will introduce two such productions in our agricultural enterprises OAO Tikhinichi and OAO Vasilishki, - said the Presidential Property Management Manager. The use of granulated feed significantly increases productivity indicators (weight gain, milk yield in
cattle , egg production in poultry), while the specific costs of the vitamin component in granulated feed are significantly lower than those of synthetic vitamins. Also a small but interesting project is the installation of a sprinkler machine at the Voskhod enterprise, which will guarantee a good potato harvest.
According to Yuri Nazarov, the most important project in agriculture that is currently being implemented is digital development. "In 2023-2024, we implemented three projects - precision farming, digital management of dairy complexes, as well as satellite monitoring of vehicles and field work. The effect is colossal. Especially when it comes to fuel. Moreover, we are now in the final stage of implementing the project to implement the so-called ERP system - a holding structure management system. This will provide the basis for making management decisions here and now. Both technological processes and accounting processes will be digitized," he said.
The second important area for the implementation of investment projects is the development of the tourism infrastructure of national parks. The President gave the order to make tourism a national project, and the Administrative Department is actively engaged in its implementation. "It is an absolutely correct decision, because the country's tourism potential is enormous, and in our system, national parks and reserves are the highlight of nature conservation complexes. Therefore, we are working very actively to create and strengthen the tourism infrastructure," the manager noted.
For example, a large project is being implemented to modernize the tourism infrastructure of the Belovezhskaya Pushcha National Park. "Last year we completed modernization with the Brest Regional Executive Committee, and in fact built a new entrance group," the manager noted. "We have also been very active in modernizing and building catering facilities. We have good, iconic projects there, such as the development of Tsarskaya Polyana, the estate of Father Frost. It is important that this year we began building a scientific center in Belovezhskaya Pushcha. We have scientific departments in each environmental institution, and my dream is that all
scientists who work on environmental issues would line up to work for us, in an environmental institution, and not just work in structures in
Minsk," shared Yuri Nazarov.
In the development of science in environmental institutions in previous years, about Br6 million was invested. "We have staffed the scientific departments, built housing, bought all the necessary equipment. We are trying to raise the status of the scientific worker of our institution in order to develop applied science for the needs of environmental institutions," the manager noted.
The third area is the modernization of woodworking industries. "To keep them loaded with raw materials, we purchase modern logging equipment. At the end of 2023 - beginning of
2024, we purchased the first five AMKODOR complexes - this is small-sized forestry equipment for thinning. The effect is colossal, because these complexes play a huge role in the planned management of forestry. We build forestry roads for this. Last week, the President instructed us to go further - today we are actively working on the implementation of a project for the production of glued products (it is obtained when several layers of wood are glued together. - Note by BELTA). This is something that is not produced in the country. We consider the production of LVL timber as the most important topic in this area - this is a glued structure that can be used, from wall panels to floor beams and so on. We will actively implement it," said Yuri Nazarov.
The fourth area is the development and modernization of the production of folk art and crafts. "This is one of the areas that we are developing on the instructions of the head of state. Here we invest more in human resources. For example, for the employees of OAO Belkhudozhkeramika in Radoshkovichi we renovated a dormitory last year. We created conditions, new personnel arrived there and this breathed new life into one of our enterprises. Last year we commissioned an administrative and production building at Slutsk Belts, i.e. we created completely different conditions for workers who are engaged in the production of folk art and crafts. We changed almost all the equipment there, installed modern equipment," said Yuri Nazarov.
The manager named
health resort activities as the fifth area for investment. "Our sanatoriums in the republic are among the best. Over the past two years, we have done a lot of work in the sanatoriums "Sosny" and "Priozerny", located in the Naroch resort area: we have put in order the beach and park complexes, new infrastructure facilities, such as a cafe, so that people can have a good rest on the shore of our pearl. There we tried such a new direction as glamping, by the way, which is in demand, - he said. - At the end of last year, a new dormitory building was opened in "Sosny", and in four months of this year, the sanatorium's
revenue has already grown by almost 60%. Therefore, we are investing in all areas."
Yuri Nazarov also said that a large project is planned to move the Printing House outside of Minsk. "This project is linked to the manufacturer of raw materials for printing - Svetlogorsk Pulp and Board Mill. It will produce the necessary paper from cellulose and supply it to the Printing House for the production of finished products (packaging, etc.). Therefore, a full cycle of production of printed products from domestic raw materials and materials will be ensured,"- said the manager.
