Tractors and cashmere: the ambassador told what goods Mongolia and Belarus can exchange

July 24, MINSK . Mongolia and Belarus have long-standing friendly ties. The importance of this was noted to a BelTA correspondent by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of Belarus Batsukh Bayarsaikhan.

Как сообщалось ранее БЕЛТА, Президент Монголии Ухнаагийн Хурэлсух в поздравлении главы белорусского государства Александра Лукашенко с Днем Независимости подчеркнул, что традиционно дружественные отношения и сотрудничество с Беларусью активно развиваются в сферах торговли, экономики, сельского хозяйства и легкой промышленности. Монгольский лидер выразил уверенность, что дальнейшее двустороннее сотрудничество будет только укрепляться и пригласил Александра Лукашенко посетить Монголию с визитом.

Посол Монголии в связи с этим отметил: "Визиты на высшем уровне важны для активизации и расширения дружественных двухсторонних отношений".

Дипломат отметил, что отношения между двумя нашими государствами были хорошими с советских времен. Осуществлялись поставки белорусских комбайнов и тракторов в Монголию, еще тогда белорусская техника хорошо себя зарекомендовала. Основа для связей в образовательной сфере была заложена также в тот период.

Наряду с этим Батсух Баярсайхан выразил мнение, что в настоящее время в его стране недостаточно информации о том, как развивается Беларусь, чего достигла за годы независимости, поэтому правительственные, бизнес-делегации из Монголии приезжают знакомиться с современными реалиями, посещают выставки. Планируется, что осенью группа журналистов из Монголии приедет для знакомства с Беларусью.

"Many delegations come from Mongolia. Not so long ago, representatives of the agricultural sector visited Belagro. They are delighted that everything is calm in Belarus, friendliness, quality food. Businessmen from Mongolia say with confidence that from an economic point of view, you can learn a lot from Belarus," the Ambassador of Mongolia said.

According to him, trade and economic ties between our countries are gradually and continuously developing. For example, a large contract was signed for the supply of building materials (windows, doors, floor coverings). Great prospects have been outlined in the supply of Belarusian dairy and MEAT products ( MILK powder , butter , cheeses , sausages ) to Mongolia.

"The most important thing is quality. Mongolia is a rapidly developing country, and people look at the quality of the products they use," Batsukh Bayarsaikhan said.

He also spoke about the fact that many Mongolian goods, including cashmere, are famous all over the world and are sold to the countries of America, Europe and Asia. The Ambassador believes that cashmere products could be an excellent item of supplies to Belarus.

Batsukh Bayarsaikhan - the first ambassador of Mongolia with residence in Minsk. Before that, the ambassadors of Mongolia were in Belarus concurrently.

The diplomat is confident that the Belarusian-Mongolian relations will develop even more actively in many areas, including agriculture, education, and tourism.
