June 25, Minsk. In each district of the Vitebsk region for 5 years it is necessary to add one modern dairy complex. Alexander Subbotin, Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, stated this in the ATN project "Question number one" on the TV channel, BelTA informs.
He noted that advanced technologies need to be introduced on every farm. And in the Vitebsk region they are striving for this. “Now we are at the turn when the farms have been built, and we want to instill this technology in order to get the maximum return. In the future, in 5 years, we need to add such large farms or complexes in each region so that we have even more milk and more exports. Accordingly, there is more money, better hospitals, better school meals, education, and so on. Everything is interconnected. I think the strategy has been chosen correctly," the head of the northern region said. The chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee added that the resource zones, which should form the main indicators in the agro-industrial complex, have justified themselves. "They have not yet given full return, as planned. Everything has just begun to move in the right direction. The resource zones have been formed, the mechanism for their work has been determined. It remains only to disperse this train so that it runs quickly and efficiently," said Alexander Subbotin. According to him, in the Vitebsk region there is an underload of processing, in particular, milk. "On average, we are loaded at 72%," the governor explained. He stressed that the future success of processing enterprises and exports is formed on high-tech farms.
