
December 23, Mogilev. The growth of investments and gross regional product will ensure the stable development of the Mogilev region in 2022. This opinion was shared by Deputy Chairman of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee Ruslan Strakhar of the Mogilev Regional Council of Deputies, BelTA has learned.
"Today, at a meeting of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee, the forecast parameters for cities and districts of the region, as well as for sectors of the economy for 2022, were approved. At the session of the Regional Council, the deputies approved the program for the development of the Mogilev region for the coming year," he noted. "The main guidelines remained the same : attracting investments, revenues to the budget and, most importantly, the growth of the gross regional product.All this is aimed at improving the well-being of our citizens, raising wages.These main indicators were determined at the VI All-Belarusian People's Assembly and formed the basis of the program of the Republic of Belarus for 2021- 2025. The indicators of the Mogilev region for 2022 are fully consistent with the five-year development program."
During his speech, Ruslan Strakhar summed up the results of the previous five-year period. "The growth rate of the gross regional product was 101.4%, the index of industrial production - 114.9%, the index of agricultural production in agricultural organizations - 109.2%. For five years, large investment projects have been implemented at the industrial enterprises of the region. Among them, the first turn of the complex for the production of polyester products of OAO Mogilevkhimvolokno, an innovative project for the production of fabric with new consumer properties of OAO Mogotex, etc. During this period, we modernized production at the main enterprises of the region: OAO Belshina, Mogilevliftmash, Olsa , "Paper factory" Spartak "and others, - he said.
Over five years, the region's economy received $409 million in foreign direct investment.
For 2022, as well as for the current five-year period, the region faces serious challenges. Among the target indicators of socio-economic development set for the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee for 2022: gross regional product with a growth rate of 103%, investments in fixed assets - 103.3%, nominal accrued average monthly wages - 109.7%, total income in the consolidated budget of the region - 107.6%.
"The main guidelines in the development of our country are: a happy family, strong regions, an intellectual country and a partner state. The program for the socio-economic development of the Mogilev region for 2021-2025 is fully consistent with these priorities. it is necessary to ensure stability in society, wage growth through modernization economy, creation of comfortable conditions for life and self-realization of people", - said the Deputy Chairman of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee.
The session was attended by Chairman of the Mogilev Oblast Executive Committee Anatoly Isachenko, Deputy Minister of Economy Anzhelika Nikitina, members of the Council of the Republic, deputies of the House of Representatives, regional and district Councils of Deputies, chairmen of city and district executive committees.
