Of course, cooperation with the Altai Territory, a large region of the Russian Federation, is very important for us. And here we have many prospects. it is important for us to promote our products. Traditionally, our products are in demand: agricultural machinery, elevators and lift equipment, chemical products, tires and food.In addition, we buy a lot of components from enterprises in the Altai Territory.Now, in our opinion, it is important to build closer cooperation ties and, perhaps, already move on to creation of joint ventures in various areas," Ruslan Strakhar noted.

Another important element of cooperation between the two regions is joint work in the field of science and education. “Despite the difficult pandemic periods, our universities continue to actively cooperate. Our task is to support this cooperation and identify new areas: in mechanical engineering, the humanities and agriculture. , but the experience of implementing our developments in life. As always, in cooperation with the Russian Federation, the scope of our interests is limitless: from the economy to culture. And we intend to deepen all these areas in cooperation with the Altai Territory," the Deputy Chairman emphasized.

According to Ruslan Strakhar, the trade turnover between the Mogilev region and the Altai Territory for 9 months of this year amounted to more than $8 million and increased by 51%.

As Alexander Lukyanov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Altai Territory, noted, the delegation of the Territory plans to get acquainted with the key objects of the region. "Belarus and the Russian Federation are connected by a lot. Common roots, the former Soviet state. After the collapse, we have built normal relations. We grow in trade every year. We are very interested in the products that are produced here. First of all, these are equipment and components for her: combines, tractors and a number of others. According to the representative of the delegation, cooperation in the field of science and education is of particular interest. “Today, the rector of our leading agricultural university is with us. And we are planning to visit the Belarusian State Agricultural Academy. We have heard a lot about it. We are ready to build relationships with this university: it can be a student exchange or other areas,” said Alexander Lukyanov.

According to Alexander Lukyanov, the Altai Territory is one of the flagships of agriculture in RUSSIA. "More than 6 million hectares is the area under crops. 43% of the population lives in rural areas. We rank 3-4th every year in terms of the number of cattle, we are the third in the Russian Federation in terms of MILK production. We produce more than 95 thousand tons of cheese annually and cheese product. About 40% of the MEAT products that are produced in the Altai Territory travel outside the region.
