October 12, Gomel. A new livestock complex was opened in the Rogachevsky district, BELTA reports with reference to the Telegram channel “Gomel region officially”.
A modern livestock complex, built in accordance with the Presidential decree, was inaugurated at OJSC "Tikhinichi" in the Rogachevsky district.
In fact, the construction of this complex took less than a year. Large-scale construction near the village of Ozerany on the territory of the existing MTF began in December last year. “The capacity of the complex with a closed production cycle, designed for 776 heads, including 576 heads of milking herd, will allow the production of more than 4 thousand tons of MILK per year. 31 people will service this large farm,” the message specifies.
The commissioning of a new modern complex will increase the milking herd to 5.5 thousand heads, and milk production will accordingly increase . The expected increase is 15-20%.
Chairman of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee Ivan Krupko expressed gratitude to the management of the agricultural enterprise and builders. He emphasized that this dairy complex is the first of ten that are planned to open in the region by the end of the year.
