Yuri Shuleiko, 29 October,
MINSK . Next year, Belarus plans to build 60 dairy farms. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Shuleiko, who oversees the agro-industrial complex, to reporters after the President of Belarus
ALEXANDER LUKASHENKO, BELTA reports.
"We have planned to build 60 dairy farms next year. Financing has already been opened," the Deputy Prime Minister said. He stressed the importance of discipline in the development of agriculture and the implementation of the plans, which the President constantly reminds us of: "It really does have its significant part. This is also part of the conversation, the program."
According to Yuri Shuleiko, within five years
it is necessary to ensure that all cows are kept in modern conditions, which will ensure high production efficiency. The Deputy Prime Minister drew attention to the fact that the quality of the final product on people's tables largely depends on the conditions in which animals are kept and fed.
During the report to the
HEAD of state, both the results of the agricultural season that has already essentially ended and plans for the future - directions and sources of growth - were discussed. Various programs are aimed at this, which concern the construction of complexes for keeping
cattle , pig complexes, issues of providing agriculture with modern feed and equipment, and so on.
"The result promised to the President has been achieved. We are putting an additional half a million tons of grain into the granaries of our country. If there is a harvest today, then this is additional agricultural
products - MEAT ,
MILK . And all the target indicators that we are moving towards are for the large piggy bank of our country," the Deputy Prime Minister summarized.
As reported, while receiving a report from those responsible for the agro-industrial complex,
Alexander Lukashenko emphasized that the quality of food products begins with the farm, the dairy complex. "We have already done a lot. We know how, what to do, the technologies. And we have built quite a few of these complexes. We must tell people directly that in the next five years we will solve the issue of dairy complexes. The dairy herd,
the cow must stand in this palace. In order to get clean milk. In the end, the cow deserves it," Alexander Lukashenko emphasized.
According to him, the Minsk region will need a couple more years to finally solve this issue. "Somewhere we need to pull up the Vitebsk, Mogilev, and partly the Gomel regions. I do not think that there are such big problems there to build these complexes. The most important thing is that we know what they should be like and what is needed there. Moreover, this is an import-substituting product. We do not need anything imported here. We can build everything ourselves," the President said.
