In winter, life at agricultural enterprises does not stop. After many months of harvesting, grass mowing and forage harvesting, farmers face other urgent tasks. In particular, prepare equipment for the new season. it is with these concerns that the staff of Prinemansky OJSC in the Novogrudok district of the Grodno region now lives.

The enterprise is located in one of the most picturesque places in Belarus - the agricultural town of Lyubcha. It is famous not only for beautiful views, but also for the glorious history that the settlement has been leading since the 13th century. There is also a castle of the same name, which was reconstructed.

The Lyubcha land is also known to farmers. Nearly 600 people work at the local agricultural enterprise, OAO Prinemansky. Thanks to their efforts, an excellent harvest was obtained last year - 23.4 thousand tons of grain. This is more than 7 thousand tons higher than in 2021.

- Worked well on time. Of course, the weather also contributed, which favored the farmers for almost the entire season. When it was necessary, it rained, and during the harvest they subsided, - Ivan Yarmots, DIRECTOR of Prinemansky OJSC, reveals the secret of a good harvest.

18 crews took part in the harvesting. Most worked on domestic technology. Several crews overcame the bar of two thousand threshed tons.

“The employees showed their best side. Of course, the work in the harvest - from morning until late at night - is very difficult, but everyone understands that our task is to contribute to the country's food security. This is especially important in our unstable time, - says the HEAD of the enterprise.

The rapeseed harvest was also good last year. This crop is ideal for the Belarusian climate, it brings a certain profit to the agricultural enterprise, which can be invested in the modernization of capacities.

– We did a very good job in rapeseed, but, of course, there is room for improvement. In 2022, we overcame the bar of 3,000 tons with an average crop yield of 40 centners per hectare. 400 tons were added to the total volume, - says Ivan Yarmots.

OJSC "Prinemansky" also specializes in the cultivation of SUGAR beets. Its productivity is one of the highest in the region. On average, about 710 centners were harvested per hectare last year.

– Our sugar beet is sent for processing to Gorodeya. The crop shaft in 2022 amounted to 32.9 thousand tons. And this is not the limit, - the head of the enterprise is sure.

Potatoes also sprouted. Under it, the farm allotted 70 hectares, from which the farmers managed to harvest an impressive harvest - more than 2.5 thousand tons.

About a month is left before the beginning of spring sowing. Based on his experience, the head of the farm assures that equipment will not enter the fields before mid-March.

– But, of course, we will focus on the forecasts of meteorologists and the actual weather. Now we are facing an important task - the purchase of fertilizers, the preparation of equipment. We are successfully coping with it, we are doing everything so that the sowing season starts on time,” says Ivan Yarmots.

Next, we are on our way to the repair shops. This is where the hot days come in winter. Maxim Dorosh, head of the workshops, reports that almost all equipment is ready for sowing.

- There are no critical difficulties, the necessary details are in abundance. We work in a measured mode, as most of the equipment has already been repaired. It is very important that it be ready on time. Otherwise, all the efforts of the team may be in jeopardy.

Locksmith Sergey Spadar repairs a cultivator. There are no critical breakdowns in the mechanism - so, a minor malfunction.

- It is better to eliminate it at first than to deal with heavy repairs in the field later. In addition, downtime of equipment interferes with the efficient work of farmers. And this cannot be allowed, - says the employee.

A malfunction in one of the trailers is also eliminated by the welder Yevgeny Kvetko. He notes that a lot needs to be done during the winter: to completely double-check all the units and equipment, to make repairs. The specialist likes to work in "Prinemansky". - We are provided with all the overalls, tools. There is little left - to come to the workplace and show the class, - says Evgeny.

Now Prynemansky continues to actively purchase fertilizers and other materials necessary for sowing. By the beginning of the season, Ivan Yarmots notes, the material and technical base of the enterprise will be in perfect condition.

- The final result depends, first of all, on the skills and experience of specialists. And, fortunately, we have plenty of good competencies. Let's hope that both the quantity and quality of the 2023 harvest will be no worse than in previous years,” Ivan Yarmots concluded.

In 2021, a neighboring farm was attached to Prinemansky. And the enterprise became one of the largest in the region. In animal husbandry, they rely on milk and pig breeding. In total, the farm contains over 10.6 thousand pigs, the carcasses of which are subsequently handed over to the Slonim MEAT processing plant. Speaking about the dairy industry, Ivan Yarmots notes that this production brings the main profit. Therefore, there are several large dairy complexes in the structure of the enterprise.

- We have a large number of cattle - more than 9.9 thousand, of which more than 4 thousand are cows. We keep them on 12 farms. They are the heart of Prynemansky, the director believes.

MTC "Golyn" is one of the largest and most modern complexes of the enterprise. It contains about a thousand heads of cattle. The farm is managed by Alexander Lipsky.

“Our work is in full swing all year round, even on holidays and weekends,” the specialist clarifies. – There are no red days on the calendar for animals.

Behind the wheel of a self-propelled feed distributor - mechanic Dmitry Razumny. During the day, he needs to deliver food to all places where animals are kept.

– The equipment at our enterprise is updated frequently. The one I'm working on today was bought a few years ago. The quality is the highest: several manipulations can be carried out at once, ergonomic. It is a pleasure to work on such a machine, - the machine operator says and hurries to distribute feed.

And we are going to a place where cattle are kept. Livestock breeder Sergei Novikov has been working on the farm for several years. He assures that he loves his work and will not exchange it for any other.

- Now young people do not want to go into agriculture - they say, it is not prestigious. But we show by our example that this is not the case. In addition, the salary sometimes exceeds the city salary, - the livestock breeder explains.

The management of OJSC "Prinemansky" is trying to create the most comfortable working conditions for employees.

“We are constantly updating the premises, improving the material and technical base and doing everything so that a person does not think about everyday trifles while working,” says the director.

The farm also offers competitive wages and a good social package. Payments are provided for anniversaries, professional holidays and other significant dates.

Enough at the enterprise and young specialists.

– We try to attract them with working conditions and career growth opportunities. Now there is a demolition of the template, according to which agriculture is not considered prestigious. The agricultural sector is rapidly becoming high-tech, requiring young personnel with relevant competencies, Ivan Yarmots emphasizes.

The area of ​​OJSC "Prinemansky" is more than 21 thousand hectares, of which 16.6 thousand are agricultural land.

Recently, a new grain drying complex has been launched on the farm.

ZSK-30. Thanks to him, the capacities that allow preparing the harvested crop for further use have significantly increased.

By the way, the complex is of Belarusian production and has already shown itself well in real working conditions.

The average milk yield per cow at the end of 2022 on the farm was 5995 kg. The average fat content of milk is 3.96%, for the most part - extra and higher grade. It is processed at the enterprises of the Novogrudok region.
