The Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision (
ROSSELKHOZNADZOR) cancels the previously introduced restrictions on the supply of dairy products in bulk to
RUSSIA from 32 Belarusian enterprises on December 3, 2019.
Rosselkhoznadzor central office after working with the Belarusian veterinary service and following telephone conversations with the
HEAD of Rosselkhoznadzor Sergei Dankvert and Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food,
DIRECTOR of the Department of Veterinary and Food Supervision of the Republic of Belarus Ivan Smilgin cancels the restrictions on the supply of dairy products in bulk from 32 Belarusian enterprises to the Russian Federation on December 4, 2019, says the Russian Ministry.
Work with the Belarusian veterinary service to lift the restrictive measures on the supply of animal products from the Republic of Belarus to Russia will continue, said the Rosselkhoznadzor.
Recall that on June 6 last year, Rosselkhoznadzor imposed a ban on the supply of a number of dairy products from Belarus. The ban concerned dairy raw materials, including
MILK and cream pasteurized and ultra-pasteurized, sterilized in bulk, milk and whey powder, whey and whey powder, whey and whey protein concentrate in consumer packaging of over 2.5 liters.
EEC representatives then immediately noted that the restrictions violate the agreements within the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU). The market reaction to the decision of the service was ambiguous, including in light of the situation of a sharp drop in prices of raw milk in the winter of 2018.
