Newlyweds Yevgeny Shevchik and Angelina Andreikovets got married just a couple of weeks ago, before the start of the mass grain harvest. However, the couple in love decided to spend their honeymoon not on the sea coasts, but on the endless Shklov fields driving a combine. BelTA correspondents followed the crew to find out what is the secret of their family happiness and joint well-coordinated work.
Young people have been working at the harvesting campaign at Govyady-Agro OJSC, the holding's management company, for the third year already. If at the last two harvests they were listed as a youth mixed crew, then they also became a family one. Yevgeny Shevchik works on the farm as a machine operator. He knows his business and, according to the management, will never let you down. “The work is the same everywhere, and the requirements for its implementation are the same,” the young family man believes. “The main thing is not to be lazy and do your job in good faith, then the salary will be good, and you will earn respect in the team.”
By the way, Yevgeny Shevchik is not a local, he came from the Brest region. Here he found a job and met his fate. Angelina's father used to work at Govyady-Agro OJSC, and her mother still works as a dispatcher on the farm. At first, the guy became a good friend of the family, and then he already saw his only one in the girl. “This is my man, as they say, a soul mate, he immediately took a liking to Angelina with all his heart,” the young man shares. “She is one in a million: kind, smart, homely and will always support in any situation.”
When the guy on the farm was offered to drive a combine, he took his future wife as his assistant, and this was not even discussed. At that time, Angelina Andreykovets was a student at the Gomel State University. F.Skorina. She was not afraid to work as a combine operator, but on the contrary, she decided to try something new. “Three years ago I didn’t know anything at all: neither how to clean and blow through the equipment, nor how to monitor the grain harvesting process,” the girl recalls. behind: I have gained good experience, and my husband supports me."
Now the girl is working as a teacher of the Belarusian language and literature at the Korma gymnasium in the Gomel region. There is a year of working off, but such a term does not frighten the newlyweds - time will fly by quickly. The household allocated a house to Evgeny, which the spouses have already begun to equip. A large corner sofa will be bought for the harvesting premium. Another part of the money earned will be put aside in the family budget. They also plan to start a farm - so far they have only bought a piglet.
Angelina has not yet got used to the new family status, but she says that she was very lucky with her husband. “I compare him with other guys and every time I am convinced that there are no more of them,” the girl notes. “We talk a lot, listen to each other and decide everything together. Zhenya is my first assistant in all matters. If necessary, he will wash, and will cook and clean the house.Working at the harvest unites us even stronger - we don’t bother each other, that’s for sure. Moreover, the current harvest has become a real honeymoon for us: it doesn’t work in any other way, because the farmers have holidays in winter, and teachers - in the summer. It is difficult to escape from work and relax together at another time, but we still have everything ahead.
When asked what is the secret of family happiness, the newlyweds smile and look at each other. "The main thing is to do everything together - to work and relax," Yevgeny Shevchik is sure. If you follow these simple rules, you can live to old age in peace and harmony.
Elena Andreikovets, mother of Angelina, is very pleased with her son-in-law. “Zhenya is like a second son, kind and calm, she will always help me,” the woman says. “Now there are few such good children - I probably got it from life as a reward. And I answer the same - I support and help. I have three children, I I love and feel sorry for both my own and strangers. I will always lend a helping hand to the young: if necessary, I will tell you something about work, I will talk kindly. Maybe it will return to my children in life - good people will also be around. "
“All the people on our farm are positive and hard-working,” says the chairman of the primary trade union organization Inga Garanskaya. “We support them, help and, of course, stimulate them financially. Thus, the average salary for 2020 amounted to Br1.75 thousand "The joint-stock company employs 210 people. In addition to a good salary and a filled collective agreement, people are provided with free lunches and dinners at the harvest, as well as additional incentives - monthly food packages. If a person works above the norm, the cost of a food package can reach up to Br120 per month. With Upon retirement, our employees are paid 1 base unit for each year worked on the farm.
According to Valeriy Izmailovich, Director of Govyady-Agro OJSC, livestock products bring the main cash flow to the farm. Today, 35 tons of milk per day are sold from three dairy complexes. However, there are plans to increase volumes to 40 tons: prices are rising, and for the sustainable development of the enterprise, it is necessary to keep up with the times and constantly improve. To achieve the goals set, the farm will improve the genetics of the livestock and improve the forage base.
“Today we are among the five largest farms in the Shklovsky district,” says Valery Izmailovich. “We are not far behind in grain harvesting, which we plan to complete by mid-August. At the harvest, 3 drivers are working to transport grain and 6 crews of combiners, which will be harvested this season. more than 2.5 thousand hectares. We plan to harvest 9 thousand tons of grain with an average yield of 35 centners per hectare. The weather is favorable for us, so harvesting is proceeding at a good pace. To date, more than 40% of the area has been harvested."
