The visa-free regime, which was introduced in Belarus for citizens of neighboring countries - members of the European Union, provided the citizens of Lithuania and Latvia with a unique opportunity to visit our country without any restrictions. Since the beginning of the visa-free regime, more than 27 thousand foreigners have entered the Belarusian territory. Someone went shopping, someone was looking for a meeting with their relatives, and someone arrived in our country as a sign of good neighborly relations. Among the latter were members of the Lithuanian movement "Good Neighborly Forum" and part-time bloggers and journalists who arrived in Belarus on Victory Day, but visited all the places that are significant for Belarusians. The Smolevichi district, on the territory of which Ozeritsky-Agro OJSC is located, was not spared either. A BelTA correspondent together with Lithuanians visited an enterprise

In the Smolevichi region, the Lithuanian guests first of all visited a symbolic and memorable place for every Belarusian - the Mound of Glory. Lithuanians paid tribute to the memory of Soviet soldiers by laying flowers on the top platform of the monument. The guests were also impressed by the military equipment presented at the Mound of Glory. After her inspection and a short photo session, they went to a dairy farm in the village of Zadomlya.

A tour of the agricultural complex was conducted by the DIRECTOR of JSC "Ozeritsky-Agro" Nina Zheleznova. She told the Lithuanians about the achievements and work of the dairy farm.

"Our collective farm employs 400 people. On average, one cow gives 34 liters of MILK per day. We sell 70 tons of milk every day. Of course, there are farms in Belarus with higher rates, but we are definitely in the top twenty. Our milk is highly valued . content of protein, fat and low somatics. The fat content of milk is 3.7-3.9%," Nina Zheleznova spoke about the achievements of the collective farm.

After getting acquainted with the general information about the dairy farm, the director of JSC "Ozeritsky-Agro" led the guests through the sheds where the cows are. Denis Mazur, Deputy for Animal Husbandry, joined the tour. He told the Lithuanians about his activities as a deputy. "My area of responsibility includes 6.5 thousand heads of cattle. I have a staff of livestock breeders and other specialists. Among them are eight doctors, six livestock specialists, nine foremen. Nina Vikentievna (Zheleznova. - Note by BelTA) is a demanding and fair manager it gives young specialists the opportunity to develop," Denis Mazur shared his opinion with the Lithuanian guests.

Right during the tour, a joyful event happened: a calf was born before the eyes of the guests. "Our movement is called Dawn of Justice. Let's name the calf in his honor - Zorka," suggested Lithuanian public figure Erika Shvenchenienė. The proposal was met with enthusiasm, and Nina Zheleznova asked the worker to record the calf under that name.

Erika Švenčienienė was very impressed with the dairy farm. “I myself am from the village, and all this brought me sweet, pleasant memories. The HEAD of the farm impressed us with her love for her work. She is a very bright person with positive energy. public figure.

She spoke about how things are with agriculture in her homeland. “It’s a little worse for us. The European Union doesn’t really need our products. It turns out that we don’t have a sales market. Previously, we could trade with RUSSIA and knew that someone needed our products. But now our politicians have imposed sanctions themselves against Russia. The biggest trouble is that we in Lithuania are not the masters of our decisions. But all troubles pass, and the time will come to restore our good neighborly relations in order to create something good together," Erika Švenčienienė added.

The most inquisitive guest was Ginteras Lunskis. He asked the director of "Ozeritsky-Agro" about the intricacies of working in the collective farm, the organization of the labor process, working conditions and, on the whole, demonstrated a rather deep knowledge of animal husbandry. Ginteras Lunskis also noted that Zadomlya has a progressive and developed agriculture.

"Our workers are provided with housing. Traditionally, large families have benefits. My deputy for animal husbandry has three daughters, so he received a manor-type house. We also have apartment-type dormitories. Our standard of living and our salaries depend only on the quality and volume of our work ", Nina Zheleznova answered the question of the Lithuanian guest.

After inspecting the farm, the Lithuanians and the director of Ozeritsky-Agro went to the estate in the village of Sloboda. The guests were also warmly welcomed here.

"I will briefly tell you what we grow. We grow blueberries and lemons. This year we planted 600 plants. Considering that we have a battered greenhouse complex, we decided to work as follows. 38 plants were purchased, from which they budded small lemons. And this year we have more than 600 lemons. In addition, we have, one might say, a unique technology for growing blueberries in greenhouses. And while it is just beginning to bloom in the open field, we are already harvesting the first harvest. This is not milk and not grain. That is, it will not bring us much money. But blueberries bring us an image, pleasure and joy of work," said Nina Zheleznova.

The director of OJSC "Ozeritsky-Agro" offered the guests to try Belarusian vegetables. The Lithuanians took Belarusian potatoes with them to plant them on their plots. Growing blueberries in greenhouse conditions turned out to be especially surprising for bloggers. The unique technology that is used in our country and in the Russian Kazan made a great impression on them.

Nina Zheleznova shared her impressions of the visit of her Lithuanian neighbors, whom she described as pleasant, inquisitive and friendly people. "People's diplomacy, which these people are guided by, is very important. They are friendly, progressive, interesting. Today, our guests were able to honor the memory of their ancestors who died during the war. Literally today, the Lithuanian authorities announced that these people should be brought to trial. But our guests believe that this should not be," said Nina Zheleznova.
