
December 7, Moscow . Agricultural production in the Eurasian Economic Union in farms of all categories in January-October 2023 increased by 0.5% compared to the same period last year. Growth was observed in RUSSIA, Belarus and Kyrgyzstan, while a decrease was observed in Kazakhstan, the press service of the Eurasian Economic Commission told BelTA.
" The harvesting of agricultural crops is coming to an end in the EAEU states . As of November 1, the grain harvest in the initially received weight in the EAEU, according to the EEC, decreased by 9.8% compared to the same date last year, while 4.8% more potatoes were harvested, and 1.4% more vegetables," the press service stated."In January-October 2023, the EAEU increased production of the main types of livestock products: cattle and poultry for slaughter (live weight) - by 2.3%, MILK - by 2.9%, eggs - by 1%," the EEC added.
