12 May, Brest. Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa has praised the MILK processing technologies used in Belarus. Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Karankevich and Chairman of the Brest Regional Executive Committee Pyotr Parkhomchik are working with the foreign leader in the Brest Region, BelTA has learned. Emmerson Mnangagwa visited the Savushkin Product enterprise in Brest. "I was very impressed by the technologies used by the Belarusian side. MyMinister of Agriculture . I am confident that we will be able to adopt certain technologies to apply them in Zimbabwe," said the President of Zimbabwe.
At the Brest Hero Fortress Memorial Complex, he laid flowers at the Eternal Flame and observed a minute of silence to honor the memory of the defenders and victims of the Great Patriotic War. Emmerson Mnangagwa left a note in the book of honored guests of the memorial complex. "I am glad to visit this historical place, I have read about it in history books. It is a great honor and privilege for me to visit this place in person. It illustrates the history of our past, your historical heritage, and it is before us. This is living proof of the courage of your people," said the Zimbabwean leader. Emmerson Mnangagwa added that his country is interested in close ties with Belarus. "Zimbabwe is a developing country. Of course, we highly appreciate it when developed countries extend a hand of friendship and assistance to us, and we try to cooperate with them as much as possible. In addition, I and the President of Belarus ALEXANDER LUKASHENKO are close friends, that is why I am here today. A very beautiful country. Chairman of the Brest Regional Executive Committee Petr Parkhomchik emphasized that the Brest Region maintains friendly relations not only with neighboring countries, but also with all states that build their foreign policy on the principles of mutual respect and good neighborliness. The region is interested in cooperation with Zimbabwe. The region made its first deliveries to this African country this year. "The Brest Region is ready to demonstrate the results of many years of experience in agriculture, based on the use of modern production, high-quality raw materials and advanced technologies. Our food products , especially dairy products , MEAT and fish products are well known throughout the world, including in some African countries," said Petr Parkhomchik. He expressed confidence that the current visit would contribute to further strengthening of bilateral relations. Thus, the Brest region is ready to explore the possibility of supplying meat and dairy products, seafood products, baby food, equipment for sorting and recycling waste, water purification and water treatment to Zimbabwe.
