November 14, MINSK. The rise of the plough in the farms of Belarus is planned to be completed on November 21. This was stated by the Minister of Agriculture and Food Ivan Krupko in the program "Main Air" on the TV channel, BelTA informs.
"The main volume of agricultural crops in the country has been harvested. Only 0.3% of the total volume remains to be harvested in the fields. This is 3 thousand hectares of corn for grain and about 3 thousand hectares of SUGAR beet. it remains to complete the autumn tillage. According to the plan, we must carry out of it on an area of 1 million 520 thousand hectares, and to date, processing has been carried out on 1 million 200 thousand hectares. We are moving ahead of schedule, 40 thousand hectares are processed per day. Until November 20-21, we will finish the rise of the plough," said Ivan Krupko.
The minister added that the country, according to current results, received 9.1 million tons of grain. These are cereal grains, corn for grain and rapeseed. It is also expected that 6 million tons of MILK will be produced. This is 100,000 tons higher than last year. The volume of eggs produced will increase by 103%. The production of beef MEAT will be increased by 7 thousand tons with an increase of 101.2%, and the production of pork meat will amount to 450 thousand tons, which corresponds to the country's domestic needs. 665 thousand tons of meat will be received.
Now winter crops are sown. These are cereals on an area of 1 million 520 thousand hectares, which is 78 thousand hectares more than last year. As well as rapeseed on an area of 404 thousand hectares, which is 28 thousand hectares more than last year.
