A batch of condensed milk for confectionery production was shipped to China by Rogachevsky Iron and Steel Works

April 11, Gomel. OJSC Rogachevskiy MKK has made the first delivery of condensed milk in large containers to China , BelTA learned from the company.

A batch of sweet products was shipped on the basis of negotiations and agreements reached earlier. From Chinese partners, the plant received a request for condensed milk in large containers of 20 kg for confectionery production. "This condensed milk will be used for production as well as tastings to further promote classic condensed milk in the Chinese market. Although condensed milk is not a traditional product in China,, on the part of Chinese partners there is an interest in further development of this type of product. For our part, we guarantee the highest quality and compliance with the requirements of the Chinese side for mutually beneficial long-term cooperation," the company stressed.

According to experts, the Chinese market has its own specifics. It so happened historically that the consumption of dairy products in this country is at lower levels relative to other countries. However, in recent years it has begun to grow. "This is due to the growth in the population of cities, the increase in incomes of the middle class, the trend towards healthy eating and fashion for products from the West, to which the Chinese refer to milk. Also, the use of condensed milk is not common in China. Local producers did not try very actively to introduce a new product on market and did not invest much in promotion.However, in the current environment, it is expected that the demand for dairy products in China will grow, including condensed milk.This will be facilitated by the growing urbanization,

It is expected that the supply of condensed milk to the Chinese market will only grow in the future.
