August 21, MINSK . The prosecutor's office of the Mogilev region opened a criminal case against the acting deputy DIRECTOR for livestock production of one of the agricultural organizations, who is accused of concealing the death of 106 heads of cattle and overstating the performance indicators of the enterprise, BELTA reports with reference to the information service of the prosecutor's office of the Mogilev region.

During the verification activities, it was established that the manager, knowing reliably about the death of 106 HEAD of cattle from December 2023 to May 2024 , gave instructions to subordinate employees to conceal these facts by entering deliberately false information in official documents.

In addition, the suspect gave instructions to employees of the agricultural enterprise to overestimate MILK yield and live weight gain of livestock. False information was then entered into official documents.

Thus, he wanted to avoid being brought to material and disciplinary liability for damage caused to the economy, create the appearance of successful work, and hide shortcomings, omissions and miscalculations in his activities.

As a result of illegal actions, significant harm was caused to the rights and legitimate interests of citizens involved in the commission of a crime, as well as state and public interests. The organization suffered grave consequences associated with the impossibility of establishing the reasons for the unproductive disposal of livestock worth more than Br120 thousand.

The actions of the suspect were qualified under Part 3 of Article 426 of the Criminal Code as an abuse of power or official authority, resulting in grave consequences.

To organize a preliminary investigation, the criminal case was sent to the Mogilev interdistrict department of the Investigative Committee.
