From baby food to deli meats, Belarus is ready to increase food supplies to Uzbekistan.

Photo by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, October 14, MINSK . The second round of negotiations on agricultural cooperation with Uzbekistan took place at the Belarusian Ministry of Agriculture and Food, the ministry's press service told BELTA.

A presentation of the EXPORT product range was also held. "The negotiations were a logical continuation of the constructive dialogue begun the day before and were aimed at specifying areas of cooperation, agreeing on supply terms, and expanding the presence of Belarusian products in the Uzbek market," the press service reported.

The delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan visited several leading Belarusian agro-industrial enterprises, where they were introduced to modern production lines, quality control systems, storage conditions, and logistics. The guests particularly focused on innovative solutions in MILK and MEAT processing, as well as technologies for producing specialized food products. At the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, a wide range of products that Belarus

is ready to supply to Uzbekistan was presented to Uzbek partners . The products on display included dry infant formula, canned food for children, athletes, and the elderly, meat delicacies, fruit purees, and ready-made solutions in the form of export kits adapted to the needs of the Uzbek market. All products were accompanied by detailed technical documentation and attractive commercial offers. The Uzbek delegation will take home presentation kits for demonstration to a wide range of potential importers and retail chains. The parties previously discussed key aspects of trade and economic cooperation in the agricultural sector, including pricing policy, expanding the supply of food products and agricultural raw materials, and the implementation of joint projects. Particular attention was paid to increasing the export of Belarusian products to the Uzbek market, including products certified in accordance with halal requirements. Trade cooperation is showing steady growth: in 2024 , trade in food products and agricultural raw materials between Belarus and Uzbekistan increased by 37.5% compared to 2023, while exports from Belarus increased by 40.4%. In the first eight months of 2025, trade increased by 55.5% compared to the same period last year, and Belarusian exports to Uzbekistan amounted to 152.3%.
