In addition to the fact that this is below the established indicator, this is also one of the lowest inflation rates among the EAEU member states . By the end of January 2025, annual inflation remained at 5.2%. Compared to December 2024, consumer prices in the country increased by 0.69%. In January 2024, inflation was slightly higher - about 0.8%," Irina Ivanovskaya said.

Positive dynamics are observed in fruit and vegetable products. "Compared to December 2024, prices for fresh cucumbers and tomatoes , sweet peppers have decreased, and citrus fruits have also become somewhat cheaper. In addition, a decrease in prices for MILK and some dairy products is recorded," noted the head of the analytical department.

Excisable goods had the greatest impact on the growth of the consumer price index. "It should be noted that this is not a surprise. Everything is strictly within the framework of the tariff notebook," added Irina Ivanovskaya.
