Volume to double. Golovchenko familiarized himself with preparations for the opening of the OAO Bellakt workshop in Volkovysk

December 27, Volkovysk. Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko visits OJSC Bellakt, BELTA reports.
At the enterprise, Roman Golovchenko was told about the financial and economic activities of OJSC Bellakt and its development prospects, as well as the progress of the investment project "Construction of a dry baby food workshop according to GMP standards."
As noted by Vitaly Lupik, General DIRECTOR of Volkovysk OJSC Bellakt, the project was launched a year and a half ago. "The baby food workshop project, which is very important for our republic, has already been launched," he said. "Some of the equipment has already been purchased, some is in the manufacturing process, and some is in the design stage. Plus, the design of a new workshop is currently underway. it will be an independent, stand-alone site. An additional 60 jobs will be created."
According to Vitaly Lupik, the project will allow the production of 15 thousand tons of dry baby food per year. "We are currently producing 7.5 thousand tons, which means we are doubling our production volume. At this stage, we are working with almost 100% capacity of the workshop, so the construction is necessary for both the country and our foreign partners," he said. The CEO noted that baby food is supplied to 12 countries (the main partners include RUSSIA , Pakistan, and Uzbekistan ), and cooperation with six more countries is being worked out.
The CEO noted that the new workshop will create conditions for additional processing for the enterprise. "We are currently processing 280 thousand tons of MILK per year, which will add an additional 100 thousand tons of milk to our volume. Since our enterprise's capacity is already quite busy, this will allow us to have a reserve of milk processing for the near future," added Vitaly Lupik.
