OJSC AgroNiva harvested a record crop of grain and leguminous crops in 2023

The management of JSC AgroNiva knows what helps farmers achieve excellent results. And it's not just about wages and working conditions. They are decent here. Every person should have something else in life, besides work. And the farm helps find a hobby and a job to your liking. It's not for nothing that JSC AgroNiva is called the most football farm in the country. And also the one where record harvests are collected.

In total, following the results of the harvesting campaign, the loaf of JSC AgroNiva, located in the Kamenets district of Brest region, weighed 16.1 thousand tons in the initial weight. Including 2.5 thousand tons of rapeseed. In general, as the DIRECTOR of JSC AgroNiva Viktor Bobr notes, the harvesting went at a good pace, although the weather for several months sometimes presented unpleasant surprises. The current result turned out to be a record for the enterprise.

– Indeed, spring preparation was carried out in difficult conditions. The drought that set in at the end of spring and lasted for more than a month also made a negative contribution. Nevertheless, we showed excellent results. The average yield excluding corn was 53.1 c/ha. Of course, there is something to strive for, – the director notes and emphasizes that the good results of the harvest are the merit of the entire team. – This is a common expression, but it fully reflects the essence. All our people work to achieve results. Absolutely every specialist made his or her own contribution to achieving success. Agriculture is a team effort . Here, everyone must understand that a lot depends on interaction.

Also, during the year, we managed to prepare a sufficient supply of feed. There is a small feed mill in the structure of JSC AgroNiva - a great help, if we talk about providing feed.

- Summing up the preliminary results of the year, I would like to note: we did a good job. Considering the decent results of the harvesting campaign, we have set new benchmarks for ourselves, which we will strive for. We have already begun preparing for the next season. Machine operators are starting to inspect the equipment. We are working on further improving the material and technical base. In general, the work is going well, - says Viktor Aleksandrovich

The livestock sector is one of the priorities for JSC AgroNiva. The enterprise has three dairy farms and one dairy complex. We visited the Omelenets dairy farm, which houses 1,140 heads of cattle . Several hundred of them are dairy cattle.

The facility manager Natalia Pashkevich notes that two milkings are organized per day. On average, it turns out about 25 liters per cow. This figure grows from year to year. The raw material is exclusively extra grade.

“This speaks to the high quality of the feed, the work being carried out and the high level of material and technical support,” emphasizes Natalya Mikhailovna.

Natalia Kolyadyuk works at the dairy farm as a livestock breeder. Her job is to monitor the condition of the animals.

- Almost all indicators, from the amount of MILK received to the amount of feed eaten by each animal. Thus, we manage to obtain maximum indicators thanks to point changes. Modern technologies are very helpful in our work. With the help of a special computer program, we see absolutely all the data for each animal . Thus, it is possible to build a strategy of individual work, - says the specialist.

The farm has a special attitude towards animals. All the workers believe that cows should be treated with love and attention.

- Animals, like people or even small children , feel and understand everything. That is why we have made it a rule to communicate with them, to talk. A cow reciprocates a good attitude, - the specialist believes.

The harvest has been collected. One part of the land is being plowed. On some other parts, specialists are applying fertilizers. Both organic and mineral.

– It may seem to the average person that the peak of our work is during harvesting, when everyone counts thousands of tons and compares yields every day. But believe me, there is a lot of work to do in the fall as well. First, we need to harvest other crops: corn, SUGAR beet. We also shouldn’t forget about sowing, which needs to be completed in a fairly short time. A significant part of the grain wedge structure is winter crops , including wheat and rapeseed, – says Viktor Bobr.

Together with the company's management, we HEAD to one of the fields. Here, plowing work is underway. And on the neighboring plot, machine operator Nikolai Kravchuk is applying mineral fertilizers. A special "course" system helps the farmer with this.

- It's simple. With the help of satellite navigation, I can see the boundaries of the track that I need to move along. In this way, the field will be processed most effectively, without "blank spots". Of course, this is good for both the land and the enterprise. By the way, next year they will sow corn here. We can process about 80 hectares per day. I think that all of us together do very important work. Someone sows, someone harvests. And we, for example, fertilize the fields. After all, without fertilizing you can't get a good harvest , - the machine operator is sure.

Nikolay Mikhailovich has been working at AgroNiva for 40 years. During these years, he admits, agriculture has made a noticeable step forward.

- New equipment, more effective fertilizers. It is much easier to work now. Tractors are better equipped, much is being done to make the workplace more comfortable.

Speaking about the working conditions at the enterprise, the machine operator notes: the management did everything to ensure that the ordinary worker was useful to the farm.

- The care is very noticeable. We have good wages, excellent working conditions. There are opportunities for development. That is why more and more young people are coming to us. The guys today are responsible and goal-oriented. It is a pleasure to hand over your business to such personnel, - says Nikolai Kravchuk.

OJSC AgroNiva is a modern enterprise with an excellent material and intellectual base. The enterprise administration is located in the agro-town of Dolbizno, where about 350 people live. However, even such a small settlement is provided with all the necessary social facilities. There is a library, a school, a community center, a store and other organizations necessary for a comfortable life. OJSC AgroNiva plays a significant role in social development. Every year, well-appointed houses are built, and major repairs are carried out on existing ones.

- We employ about 300 people, both residents of Dolbizno and other villages. The team is united, creative. We support our people, we try to make work comfortable, because in agriculture it is not easy, - says the head of the enterprise.

On the territory of the farm there is a secondary school, two kindergartens, two Orthodox churches, three rural cultural centers, two first aid posts, a canteen, a gym, a stadium. The farm pays great attention to the creation of a sports base for a healthy lifestyle. There is a stadium where district and regional competitions are held. In the summer of 2019, a fitness center with modern exercise machines was built. Trips to the swimming pool are organized.swimming pool in Kamenets, free skating in the Ice Palace in Brest.

The staff of JSC "AgroNiva" takes an active part in the social and cultural life of Kamenets district and Brest region. Employees regularly go to sports competitions, attend other events. The head of the farm notes: each person should develop not only in the workplace.

- That is why we encourage the initiatives of our workers. We hold various events, organize excursions. It is important for us that a specialist has diverse interests. I believe that this helps to achieve career growth, - said Viktor Aleksandrovich.

JSC AgroNiva is a partner and sponsor of the football club Niva, based in the agro-town of Dolbizno. The sports team has achieved significant success. Last year, the team became the winner of the second league of the national football championship. The team did not get lost in the first one either - it managed to gain a foothold in the second most important echelon of Belarusian football and is considered a strong middle peasant of the league. Many fans come to Niva's matches.

- Before the start of the competitions in the first league, we significantly renovated the stadium in accordance with the requirements of the Belarusian Football Federation. We increased the capacity of the stands to a thousand people, installed a new scoreboard, renovated the locker rooms and utility rooms. Of course, we had the opportunity to play in Brest, but we decided to continue playing in Dolbizno. I think this approach is correct, because the team should please its fans. Several hundred fans regularly come to the matches. Not only local residents come, but also people from neighboring villages, Vysokoye and even Kamenets, - emphasizes Viktor Bobr.

The farm owns 8,147 hectares of agricultural land, including 6,003 hectares of arable land. The fertility score of the land is 32.3, arable land - 34.3. The main activity is the production of milk , beef, growing grain crops, sugar beets, rapeseed.

There are many honored people among the employees of JSC AgroNiva. Thus, on May 5, a solemn ceremony of awarding workers in various fields of activity was held in MINSK. Among those awarded was an employee of the farm. For many years of work and high professionalism, Valery Sergeyevich Yakubich, a tractor driver, was awarded the Order of Honor.

There is a modern grain drying complex on the territory of the enterprise. The facilities were put into operation last year. The 2023 harvest was dried on new equipment.

OJSC AgroNiva has its own canteen. The food here (I have personally checked it!) is very tasty, healthy and varied. The food block is equipped with the most modern kitchen equipment. On the hot days of harvesting, lunches are delivered to the machine operators directly to the plots.
