May 3, Zhlobin district. A new dairy complex was opened in the Antonovka-Agro SPU of the Gomeloblgaz Republican Unitary Enterprise in the Zhlobin district, BELTA correspondent reports.
Deputy Prime Minister Pyotr Parkhomchik, Chairman of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee Ivan Krupko, Energy Minister Viktor Karankevich, and other honored guests came to congratulate the villagers on the opening of an important facility.
One of the largest investment projects in the region’s agro-industrial complex began in September 2022. The modern complex "New Tsuper" is designed for 1.6 thousand heads
of cattle , of which 720 are milking herds. After reaching its designed capacity,
it will be able to sell 6.5 thousand tons of
MILK per year. And this is an additional Br7 million in revenue. Petr Parkhomchik called the event significant and thanked all participants in the construction of the complex.
“I remember back in 2004, when the President gave instructions to transfer a large number of (agricultural - BELTA) enterprises to the management of the industrial complex of Belarus. Industrialists resisted, saying that these were assets of a different type. But gradually they began to get used to it, and these SECs, which were transferred to the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Energy, Belneftekhim, people began to feel supported, work discipline was strengthened, and most importantly, today we see an effect from this work: with the correct formulation of the issue, serious, significant results can be achieved,” noted the Deputy Prime Minister.
