“I am grateful to the HEAD of state for the trust. This is my favorite industry. I have been in it since my youth,” said Sergei Bartosh. “All the tasks assigned to the ministry are clear. I will use all my strength, experience and knowledge to fulfill them. I am sure that with such a team everything will work out.According to him, priority should be given to improving the structure of sown areas, creating a solid forage base, developing the livestock industry, and ensuring food security. "Improving the quality of MILK produced and reducing costs will be under special control. It is necessary to increase the sales market, the number of countries where supplies are made," he said. "The construction of dairy complexes is one of the steps to reduce costs and increase production volumes. This will allow us to feel calm and stable in foreign markets. We also need to actively develop crop production, which will provide livestock with a sufficient fodder base."
In addition, the minister stressed the importance of retaining young professionals - this is one of the main components of staffing in the field of agriculture. "I have a number of proposals that we will work out jointly with the departments so that young specialists can gain a foothold in the countryside," Sergei Bartosh said.
