November 15, Rogachev District. One of the main components of success in the agricultural sector is hard work. This opinion was shared by Artem Potapenko, a tractor driver and machine operator of the farm, in a conversation with journalists at a ceremonial meeting on the occasion of the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Tikhinichi agricultural enterprise in Rogachev District, a BELTA correspondent reports.

Artem Potapenko has been working at Tikhinichi for five years already. He comes from Krasny Bereg in Zhlobin District. "I came to Tikhinichi after being assigned. Everything suits me here. They gave me housing, the salary is good, decent. Why did I choose agriculture in the first place? Because I am a rural person myself, from the village. Since childhood, with my father - on tractors, on combines. I liked all this. I did not even think about another sphere," the young farmer shared.

There are already some important achievements on his professional path. "This year, I took second place in the region, first in the district in terms of threshing among youth crews. We threshed 1,550 tons," said Artem Potapenko.

"Our Tikhinichi is 105 years old. I want to wish that we continue to work in the same spirit and achieve high results. Look: today, Tikhinichi is famous throughout the republic. And this is thanks to our manager, our team - we are hardworking. We work from dawn to dusk," the villager named an important component of success.

His colleague, machine operator Andrei Novikov, came to Tikhinichi in 1985. "And he never left the farm for a day. My mother worked here on the farm, my father was a tractor driver. So I have seen peasant labor since childhood. I saw how our farm developed, and I am happy with what it has become today - strong, good," the worker noted. Andrei Novikov's son followed in the footsteps of his father, grandfather and grandmother. And the total length of service in "Tikhinichi" of his family is approaching the mark of 150 years.

According to the villager, responsibility, strict adherence to technologies, to which "Tikhinichi" pays the closest attention, lead to results. "Personally, this agricultural year I have a result of threshing 1900 tons of grain with rapeseed - second place in the farm. Not the highest figure, of course, before it was 2 thousand tons. But the weather had an effect. Therefore, for next year I set the bar for myself to collect at least 2 thousand tons of threshing," he shared.

"105 years of the enterprise is, of course, a significant date for the entire team. I would like to wish that our "Tikhinichi" from year to year only becomes better, more successful. We have everything for this. A good manager, a close-knit team, equipment, machinery. And we know how to work the land," the machine operator concluded.

At the ceremonial meeting, many warm congratulations and wishes for further success were expressed to the team. The best of the best workers were awarded well-deserved prizes. Creative musical numbers were a gift for everyone.

JSC "Tikhinichi" is a multi-industry farm that specializes in the production of MILK, raising heifers, grain, potatoes, feed and apples. The basis of the production potential is five modern dairy complexes, and an industrial APPLE orchard with an area of ​​over 100 hectares is located on the farm's lands. The team employs more than 500 people.
