November 7, MINSK . The grand opening of the National Exposition of the Republic of Belarus at the 6th CHINA International Import Exhibition took place on November 6, a BELTA correspondent was told at the Belinterexpo exhibition enterprise of the BelCCI.

The Belarusian exposition was opened by the Minister of Economy Alexander Chervyakov and the Deputy Minister of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, deputy representative at international trade negotiations Lin Ji. Also participating in the opening ceremony were the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to China Yuri Senko, the DIRECTOR of the Belinterexpo exhibition enterprise of the BelCCI Natalya Kurash and the HEAD of the administration of the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park "Great Stone" Alexander Yaroshenko.

From the first day of the exhibition, the Days of Regions of Belarus have been held in the country pavilion with the invitation of Chinese partners and sister provinces of the Belarusian regions and the capital. On the opening day of the exhibition, Minsk Day was held in Shanghai, with speeches and presentations by representatives of capital enterprises and tastings of their products, as well as B2B meetings and negotiations. Regional events will be held at the Belarusian country pavilion every day throughout the duration of the exhibition.

In addition to Belarus, in the main pavilion of the exhibition, country expositions are represented by China , Egypt , UAE, Portugal, Brazil , Argentina, Thailand, Malaysia, RUSSIA, Azerbaijan , Uzbekistan , Armenia , Kazakhstan , Poland , Malta, Serbia, Germany , Finland, Ireland, Greece, Mongolia and other countries, more than 60 states in total.

The most representative composition of Belarusian exhibitors was gathered in the commercial pavilion "Food and Agricultural Products". The stand is made in the form of a large-scale model of the historical and cultural value of Belarus - the Kossovo palace and park complex. Food is in great demand on the Chinese market, and in this pavilion, Belarusian products are represented by more than 30 companies, including well-known enterprises that are part of the Belgospischeprom and Brestmyasomolprom concerns. Belarusian companies brought their famous dairy products to Shanghai: MILK powder , new types of cheese, milk for baby food, cream and frozen cheese, as well as ice cream with different flavors. Especially for the Chinese market, domestic enterprises have prepared a line of lactose-free dairy products, dry and whole milk products. The Rogachevsky Dairy Canning Plant offers ice cream mixes, milkshakes and an assortment of soft and hard cheeses. Condensed milk with coconut flavor is especially popular among exhibition guests. The Glubokoye Dairy Canning Plant will debut at the Chinese Import Exhibition with a new product - “Cherry in Chocolate” condensed milk.

Visitors can enjoy high-quality MEAT products, including deli sausages and smoked meats, as well as beef and pork products. The Mogilev meat processing plant surprises with its new products, such as beef in natural mold and basturma. Brest Meat Processing Plant presents its innovative product - Namazka, which is available in four types: with mushrooms, nuts, salami and herbs. In addition, the company’s assortment includes “Beef” sausage and “Elite” raw smoked beef.

Those with a sweet tooth will delight in delicious confectionery: chocolate, caramel, marmalade and FLOUR delicacies. There is also an assortment of alcoholic drinks (vodka, tinctures and balms) and an interesting selection of drinks from kvass to juices. In addition, Belarusian participants hold presentations and tastings of their products. Among the new products from domestic companies presented at the exhibition are the candies “Bird in Milk Chocolate” and the “Charge” bar with salted caramel and nuts, as well as five varieties of dark chocolate from the Kommunarka confectionery factory.

Inside the pavilion, visitors will enjoy exciting shows with master classes on cooking national Belarusian cuisine, conducted by the famous chef from Belarus Anton Kalenik. At master classes they prepare cottage cheese donuts, potato pancakes, baked pumpkin with herbs and cheese and much more.

The food pavilion features exhibits from many countries, including Azerbaijan, Russia, Singapore, Mexico, Argentina, Romania, SOUTH KOREA, Georgia, Malaysia, France, Thailand, Serbia, South Africa and others. Along with Belarusians, the most famous world brands such as Nestle, Bayer, Wilmar, PepsiCo, The Macallan, Pernod Ricard, Remy Martin, Ferrero Rocher, Haagen-Dazs, Fonterra and many others are presenting their products at the exhibition.

In the “High-Tech Equipment and Information Technologies” pavilion, visitors to the Belarusian stand can get acquainted with scientific and technical achievements and innovative developments from the petrochemical and industrial spheres. Domestic petrochemical enterprises demonstrate samples of synthetic yarns, nitrogen fertilizers, industrial chemicals and more. The industrial potential of Belarus at the exhibition in Shanghai will be presented by Planar OJSC, Gomselmash OJSC and BMZ OJSC - the management company of the BMK holding.

In the Consumer Goods pavilion, visitors are presented with textile and fur products, as well as linen products . Particular attention is paid to the new collection from the leading fur brand of Belarus - GNL, called "Silk Road". The products produced by the InterProdTrade enterprise of Belkoopsoyuz are high-quality furs with modern design and new technological developments in tailoring and finishing.

For the first time, the Merch of the First brand was presented on the Chinese market, which brought a collection of sweatshirts with exclusive quotes from the President of the Republic of Belarus in Russian and Chinese. All products are made from 100% natural high-quality raw materials.

In addition, the stand also presented peat products from Beltopgaz enterprises, which are already known to Chinese consumers.

Belarusian participants demonstrate exchange, customs, educational and logistics services, developments of domestic educational and scientific institutions, as well as the potential of the country's free economic zones in the Trade in Services pavilion. The traditional joint stand is represented by the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the State Committee for Science and Technology and the Ministry of Education. They demonstrate their services in terms of education, development, and innovation. Among them are artificial emeralds, technology for microelectronics, graphene-containing material and products based on it, technology for applying composite nanocoatings, heat-resistant materials, and technology for the production of dry bacterial starters. In total, the pavilion presents about 40 scientific and technical developments of institutions and organizations of the Ministry of Education and the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

A wide business and cultural program is organized throughout the exhibition. On November 3, on the eve of the opening of the Belarusian exposition at CIIE, a business forum of representatives of Belarusian and Chinese businesses was held, organized by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Chinese Committee for the Promotion of International Trade of Shanghai (CCITC Shanghai). At the event, the EXPORT opportunities of Belarusian companies participating in the forum and national exposition were presented, and business negotiations took place between representatives of business circles.

On November 6, the Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev also visited the exposition of Belarus. During the inspection of the exposition, the official delegation noted the consistently high quality of Belarusian products, and also expressed interest in developing cooperation with Belarus. Guests of the Belarusian exposition continue to enjoy the rich cultural program, performances by artists and tasting of national cuisine. A presentation of the Brest region took place at the pavilion on November 6, and a package of agreements was signed.

The 6th China International Import Expo in Shanghai will continue until November 10.
