A dairy complex for a thousand heads was opened in the Gomel region

May 1, Gomel region. A new dairy complex for a thousand heads of milking herds with the Karusel milking system was opened on May 1 at Znamya Rodiny OJSC in the Gomel region, BelTA has learned.

Chairman of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee Ivan Krupko called the opening of the complex a significant event not only in the history of the enterprise, the district, but the entire region. "On Labor Day, we are opening a complex that launches a new stage in the development of dairy cattle breeding in the Gomel region - with new, advanced technologies," the governor said. He drew attention to the fact that the milking system "Karusel" installed at the complex was produced at the enterprise of the region - "Gomelagrokomplekte".

The installation allows, among other things, to reduce the time of milking the herd as a whole, to better prepare the animal for milking.

According to the governor, the new complex will allow the farm to increase MILK yield from almost 8,000 kg of milk per cow per year to more than 10,000 kg.

The chairman of the regional executive committee recalled: the agro-industrial complex and dairy cattle breeding of the region are faced with the task of demonstrating steady growth. "We won't be able to do this without new technologies," Ivan Krupko is convinced. He specified that modern dairy complexes will also appear in other farms in the region this year. "These are new jobs, decent working conditions, the opportunity to receive high milk yields. This is a decent salary, a new level of development of the enterprise, these are our achievements," the governor noted.

He thanked the employees of the agricultural enterprise: "With your work, in spite of everything, you achieve high results." Words of gratitude were expressed by the HEAD of the region and the builders who erected the complex within the specified time frame.

Mikhail Ruban, DIRECTOR of JSC Znamya Rodiny, specified that the complex is being filled by the enterprise's own forces. “We have heifers of different ages for this,” he explained. Currently, there are already more than half a thousand goals on the MTK and the filling continues.
