A dairy complex for 600 heads will be built in the Mogilev region

September 18, Mogilev. A new dairy complex for 600 heads of dairy herd will be built at Tishovka OJSC near the village of Sevostyanovichi, Mogilev district. A BELTA correspondent was told about this in the district executive committee.

The facility is being built using our own funds and credit resources. The complex will be equipped with a barn for 300 places, a milking unit, a maternity ward with a workshop for dry cows and a dispensary for 206 places. There is also a water tower and an artesian well, haylage trenches for 2 thousand tons. The standard construction period is 12 months, in September 2024 the facility will be fully operational. The average annual livestock of the farm will be 1032 heads, the animals will be served by 30 workers. IT is planned to receive an average annual Milk yield of almost 5.6 thousand tons. The construction cost is about Br20.5 million, the project will fully pay off in about 6.4 years.

To continue the modernization of dairy farming, the construction of new dairy complexes throughout the country is planned for this and next year. According to Presidential Decree No. 442-dsp dated December 28, 2022 “On the construction (reconstruction) of dairy complexes,” ten such facilities will appear in each region. In the Mogilev region, four new MTCs will be built in the Mogilev region, three in the Kirov region, two in Bobruisk and one in Goretsky.

“The new dairy complexes will increase the number of dairy herds and the production of Extra milk, and will also allow for an increase in gross milk production,” noted Gennady Davydov, First Deputy Head of the Department of Agriculture and Food of the Mogilev District Executive Committee. “In order to maintain this livestock and receive additional products, the area of ​​forage crops that will be sown next year has already been calculated. Everything is included in the plans. Agriculture needs to be developed, because food products will always be in demand. Money also needs to be spent on the development of dairy farming, which will definitely pay off. On the old On farms, technology does not always allow"Extra" grade milk , so the new complexes will produce a high-quality product."

Today the complex is under active construction. In total, OJSC "Tishovka" operates two dairy complexes (MTK "Semukachi", MTK "Mikhalevo"), three dairy farms in Dubinka, Sevostyanovichi and Rakuzovka, as well as three farms for raising young cattle .
