Mogilev region celebrates the 100th anniversary of its dairy processing

November 19, Mogilev. Mogilev region celebrates the 100th anniversary of the region's state dairy processing and the Day of Agricultural and Processing Industry Workers. A big celebration unfolded in the Palace of Culture of the region, BelTA has learned.

The cultural institution brought together workers of dairy enterprises from all over the region. An exhibition and tasting of dairy products of the largest manufacturer in the region was organized for the guests.

One of the participants in the festive event was the Deputy General Director for Production of OJSC "Babushkina Krynka"- the managing company of the Mogilev Dairy Company "Babushkina Krynka" holding Galina Titenkova. The other day she was awarded a high state award - the medal "For Labor Merit". "Our holiday began even earlier. The President signed a decree on awarding the workers of the village and the processing industry with medals, orders, and thanks. Chairman of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee Anatoly Isachenko presented these awards in a solemn atmosphere in the Regional Executive Committee. I'm glad that I received this award. This is a recognition of painstaking work over 30 years of work at the enterprise. The President congratulated us on our professional holiday. We were invited to the Palace of Independence for congratulations. It is quivering, exciting, very sincere, - she noted. - I am glad that our labor collective is noted. After all, behind my award is not only my work, but also of our entire team. Thanks to the high quality of products, the development of new types, the introduction of new systems, we have worked well. Success lies in work. And he is important not for himself, but for the whole team. Similarly, in family life, communication with children. They also need to be taught, protected, directed. And when they become adults, learn from the experience of others. It's the same with the company."

Valeriy Matyushonok, chief veterinarian of the State Farm Volunteer of the Klichev District, became another participant in the holiday. He noted that the professional holiday for farmers is summing up the results of the outgoing year. “The whole country has worked well this year. We gave products with a bang! You don’t have to worry about food security,” the man said. - As a veterinarian, I am also responsible for the quality of milk. Without quality raw materials, there is no quality product. Human health also depends on this. They say that a doctor treats a person, and a veterinarian treats humanity. Raw material quality is a big team work. All specialists are interested in the result."

The Deputy Prime Minister Leonid Zayats congratulated the representatives of the dairy processing of the Mogilev region. "Today we are celebrating the centenary of the state milk processing of the Mogilev region. It is very gratifying that this day coincided with a holiday celebrated in our state - the Day of Agricultural and Processing Industry Workers. We are ending the year with dignity, because we have made every effort to ensure about 11 million tons of food have been harvested from the fields of the country. We have provided a laying in the public sector, paid off the state order, laid the foundation for the further development of the agro-industrial complex of Belarus," he said. "Dear workers of agriculture and the processing industry and veterans. Dairy production in the Mogilev region has proved its viability. Today, one of the leading holdings operates here, which confirms its importance both within our country and abroad. Our dairy products are valued for their quality and affordability. This is a huge work of several thousand people - true patriots of their work, who are united by a sense of duty, loyalty to the cause and devotion to the profession."

The words of congratulations from the festive stage were delivered by the Minister of Agriculture and Food Igor Brylo. “Our holiday is called just that - the Day of Agricultural and Processing Industry Workers. Because processing is an integral part of the entire agro-industrial complex. We produce more than 1.8 thousand types of dairy products. This suggests that such a wide range of products as in Belarus , is not available in any country. And Belarusian dairy products are in great demand - both within the country and abroad. This is the merit of our farmers, who did not betray the President of the country either two years ago or now. They understand that the more we will get a harvest, produce products, thereby ensuring food security and socio-economic stability."

Anatoliy Isachenko, chairman of the Mogilev Oblast Executive Committee, also addressed the audience. "On the eve of the Day of Workers of Agriculture and Processing Industry of the Agro-Industrial Complex, I congratulate you on a significant event - the 100th anniversary of the dairy processing of the region. You are the heirs of the centuries-old and glorious traditions of Mogilev residents in the art of making dairy products. Over the hundred-year history of the development of the state dairy industry, we have achieved significant results , which play an important role in the socio-economic development of the Mogilev region," he summed up.

After that, the best representatives of the dairy processing industry of the region were awarded on the stage of the Palace of Culture of the region. The holiday continued with a great creative concert.
