At the very beginning, Shavkat Mirziyoyev stressed that he was glad to meet Alexander Lukashenko in ancient, but eternally young Samarkand. “I am very pleased that you responded and flew to the meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. A lot has been done. I can honestly say that it was hard, but we endured everything, did it at the highest level. I am also grateful to your colleagues who supported everyone. 80 events were held, somewhere around 50-60 were of the highest level. More than 40 documents were prepared. In 2021, the trade turnover between Belarus and Uzbekistan amounted to $301.9 million (107.8% compared to 2020), exports - $245.4 million (103.3%), imports - $56.5 million (132.5%). A positive balance of $188.9 million was exported. Specific goods, MEAT and meat products, medicines, vinyl chloride polymers, MILK powder , diagnostic reagents, vaccines, blood serum, wood chipboards, cheeses and cottage cheese were exported. The main imports were cotton yarn, grapes, specific products, fresh and dried fruits, rolled copper, bed linen, knitted fabrics, sweaters, pullovers, cardigans, knitted vests, tungsten and products from it.

In January - July 2022, the positive dynamics of trade in goods continued, the volume of which reached $243.2 million (150.6% compared to the same period in 2021). Exports amounted to $187.6 million (139.3%), imports - $55.6 million (an increase of 2.1 times).

The volume of mutual trade in services in 2021 was $52.6 million (156.7% compared to 2020), exports - $42.3 million (151.4%), imports - $10.3 million (183%).

In January - June 2022, the turnover of services amounted to $23.1 million (77.9% compared to the same period in 2021), EXPORT - $18.3 million (77.3%), import - $4.8 million (80.1% ).

There are 107 organizations with Belarusian capital registered in the Republic of Uzbekistan. On the territory of the country, an assembly plant of domestic equipment with the participation of Belarusian capital has been created - JV LLC "AMKODOR-AGROTEXMASH" (founder - JSC "Amkodor"). Cooperative cooperation between MAZ OJSC and KRANTAS GROUP LLC, MTZ OJSC and Uzavtosanoat JSC continues in the field of production of vehicles and tractors. The Marko company is implementing a joint project for the production of footwear in Uzbekistan. LLC "Svetlogorsk plant of welding electrodes" is implementing an investment project in this country for the production of welding electrodes. OJSC "BELAZ" is studying the possibility of organizing a SKD assembly of its equipment on Uzbek territory. JSC "Belkommunmash" sent a comprehensive proposal for the sale of tram cars to Uzbekistan and the construction of the necessary infrastructure. Offers were also submitted for the supply of electric buses for participation in the tender for the purchase of vehicles.
