July 11, Orsha district. The task for agriculture is to get away from farms in a five-year period and build technologically advanced dairy complexes. This was stated by President of Belarus ALEXANDER LUKASHENKO during a visit to the Pavlinka robotic dairy complex of the Yubileiny agricultural complex in the Orsha district, BelTA has learned.

First of all, Alexander Lukashenko asked the DIRECTOR of the Yubileiny agricultural complex Alexander Firsin how things were going with the implementation of the earlier instructions. First of all, we are talking about the equipment of the machine yard, where the President visited during one of his working trips last year.

The HEAD of the enterprise reported that all the agreements had been fulfilled and the necessary repairs had been made. Now there is everything for high-quality maintenance, maintenance and repair of equipment.

Addressing the leadership of the region and the district, the head of state made a number of working remarks on the current situation in the fields.

The Pavlinka dairy complex, where the President arrived, is designed for 2,400 heads of cattle . Now 2240 heads are kept here. Milking in the complex is carried out using modern robots. The facility was commissioned in June 2021. The total cost of the four launch complexes amounted to Br71.5 million.

Of course, this is not the cheapest complex, and Alexander Lukashenko paid special attention to this factor. The President noted that if the economy can afford it, then no one forbids the construction of such farms, but a few years ago he instructed to determine the best project in terms of price and quality, which can be used throughout the country.

The head of state cited the experience of the Rodina farm in the Belynichi district as an example and recalled its leader Alexander Lapotentov. "There was no show off, and the economy is profitable," he remarked.

"I want us to build optimal complexes," the President said, speaking about approaches to the development of livestock complexes throughout the country.

“Our task is to get away from these wild farms over the next five years. We need to build (not such palaces, of course) technological complexes, cheap. We need to return to the price. We need to decide how much the complex will cost,” Alexander Lukashenko said.

"We MILK 25% of milk on these farms. All these cows must be transferred to such complexes. We need to determine the optimal price of the optimal complex. I'm not saying that it should be cheap / expensive. The miser pays twice. But there is no extra money, - once again the head of state emphasized: “In the next five years, the entire dairy herd should be technologically transferred to complexes.”

Minister of Agriculture and Food Igor Brylo reported on the situation in agriculture, special attention was paid to the livestock sector. According to him, milk production is growing in the country , and the dynamics will increase. MEAT production volumes are also increasing in all regions.

The President first of all took an interest in solving problematic issues.

"First, I receive complaints that you are forbidding farms to sell dry cows that are not milked for two or three years. Why are you doing this? - Alexander Lukashenko asked.

Deputy Prime Minister Leonid Zayats assured that there is no such practice in the country. If there were such cases somewhere, they are isolated and these decisions are made locally, Ihor Brylo added.

"Okay, let's figure it out. God forbid we find at least one such case. This is unacceptable," the head of state stressed.

He also inquired about the figures on the loss of livestock.

"Over 6 months, we reduced the unproductive disposal by 21 thousand, 76%. In this unproductive disposal, the death rate was 48% (minus 3.4% compared to last year). We reduced the slaughter in the farms by 13 thousand, which was also a death ", the minister said.

"And what percentage do you target on departure?" Alexander Lukashenko clarified.

According to Igor Brylo, the adjusted figure for technological losses is 1.7%. The actual result is 1.4%. This is 0.1% less than last year's level.

“So, listen, you need to give orders,” the President noted.

"Let's say it's too early to give orders to the Gomel region. It's too early for the Mogilev region, that is, there is still something to work on. But the downward trend will continue," the minister said.

During his visit to the robotic dairy complex, Alexander Lukashenko also got acquainted with the technology of keeping and milking cattle.
