March 1, MINSK / Corr. BELTA/. it is necessary to develop a global pricing policy. President of Belarus ALEXANDER LUKASHENKO said this today, while receiving Vasily Gerasimov, chairman of the State Control Committee of Belarus, with a report, BelTA has learned.
The HEAD of state believes that it is necessary to pay attention to pricing not only in relation to consumer goods. "We need to see them. It's not the case that we have taken control of 60 positions there. You know, we have taken control of MILK , we will adhere to it. But butter - let the price grow at any pace?" "Our people don't use oil? That's why we need to look at pricing here too. We need to work out a global pricing policy so that it looks normal, so that there are no retrogrades. So that we don't really create a shortage, but also so that people see that there is no unreasonable rising prices."
“People understand everything very well. Everyone in Belarus understands what prices and pricing are. Therefore, we must approach this issue reasonably, without excesses,” the Belarusian leader noted.According to him, KGC, of course, should not run ahead of trade unions, deputies, MART in the issue of control over pricing. “But still, you must play some conceptual role. You must analyze and see what needs to be done in terms of pricing,” Alexander Lukashenko said.
