November 18, MINSK. No matter how they strangle Belarusian manufacturers with sanctions, the country traditionally occupies worthy positions in world rankings. This was stated by the President of Belarus ALEXANDER LUKASHENKO to the leaders of the agro-industrial complex, BelTA has learned.

“No matter how we stifle domestic producers with sanctions, we traditionally occupy worthy positions in world rankings. We are among the five largest exporters of dairy products, which today can be found on supermarket shelves in almost 50 countries of the world,” Alexander Lukashenko said.

Belarus entered the Chinese market. Not just came, but also successfully competes with New Zealand - a recognized leader in the dairy world, the HEAD of state stated. "I'm talking about CHINA, because even friendly countries are facing a big problem to enter the Chinese market. And we "revealed" at one time: come, do what you want. And my demands to at least three of our last governments did not quite have an effect. "Finally, we realized that we need to protect our own: our producers, consumers, our market. We really have something to offer. We produce more than 1800 types of dairy products. 1800! We produce cheeses that are in no way inferior in taste and quality to well-known world brands. A number of organizations Republics have achieved world-class results in MILK production," the President said.

As an example, he cited the Molodovo-Agro enterprise in the Ivanovo region, where the annual productivity of cows of the dairy herd is more than 12 thousand kg, and this figure continues to increase. The best results in animal husbandry are traditionally demonstrated by agricultural organizations in the Grodno, Nesvizh, Dzerzhinsky, Smolevichi, Berestovitsky and Ivanovo regions.

"We produce more than a thousand types of MEAT products. The geography of EXPORT of these products is more than 30 countries of the world. Today, Belarus is recognized not only by the famous MTZ tractor and BELAZ car, but also by such brands as Savushkin Product or Grandmother's Krynka". The level of self-sufficiency of Belarus in the main types of food products exceeds 100%, all of which are of high quality and affordable. "And this is, first of all, the result of your work, dear workers, dear peasants," Alexander Lukashenko emphasized.
