Alexander Lukashenko instructed to analyze all the dairy processing companies in the country according to three criteria in order to determine the best ones. The rest of them are to be either closed or modernized. This, according to the press service of the head of state, was stated by the president visiting Turov dairy plant.
According to the President, farms engaged in
milk production should first of all send raw materials to successful processing plants. Thus, they will be loaded even more, which means that the state budget will receive additional revenues in the form of taxes.
"That's what the policy should be, not the fact that we hold on to these plants, which work worse, for more than twenty years of modern history," said Alexander Lukashenko.
The President instructed to analyze all the dairy processing companies according to three criteria: what wages they pay their employees, at what cost they buy raw materials and what deductions to the budget they pay. Lagging production facilities should be either closed or modernized in order to provide deep processing of products.
It was noted that the Turov dairy plant is a rather successful enterprise. However, raw materials from regional farms are not always sent here. This is explained by the fact that the company has a higher credit burden, so it pays profit tax at a lower rate. It is more profitable for the local authorities to supply raw materials for the production facilities, for which a higher tax rate is set. "I am not ready to draw any conclusions. But you can also report to me: "If someone is killing raw materials at bad processing plants, goes to jail, and the government will throw me out," warned Alexander Lukashenko.
The head of state was also informed about the implementation of the investment project for the launch of the second production capacity, production and technical characteristics, financial and economic situation and prospects of the company. Alexander Lukashenko visited several shops of the plant, got acquainted with the modern technological processes of milk processing, as well as with the production and promising products.
