Krupko: management decisions should improve the economic climate and people's lives

February 16, Rogachev. Local management decisions should significantly improve the overall economic climate and people's well-being. This was emphasized by the chairman of the Gomel regional executive committee Ivan Krupko during a meeting with activists of the Rogachev region, BelTA has learned.

A comprehensive review of the prospects for the socio-economic development of each of the 21 districts continues in the region. It is important for the governor to study and unleash the potential of each of them, while finding out how confidently the chairman of the district executive committee and his team are leading the district and its residents to a better standard of living. Competent timely implementation of activities of republican and regional programs is one of the key factors.

Rogachevsky district is gradually developing. Last year, 5 km of heating networks were updated here, almost 15 thousand square meters of housing were repaired, two boiler houses were modernized, and two iron removal stations were commissioned. Two more are planned for this year. This will increase the percentage of consumers of high-quality drinking water to more than 90. In 2021, 42 large families improved their living conditions. “At the same time, every third built individual houses. This year, the proportions are changing: out of a total of 110 families, two out of three are building a manor-type house. I would like to support and maintain such dynamics in the construction of individual housing,” Ivan Krupko emphasized.

The top five enterprises include "Tikhinichi", a forestry enterprise, "Remeza", Rogachevskiy MKK and "Diaprojector". In fact, due to the last three, the growth rate of exports of goods for the year exceeded 120%.

When considering the issue of socio-economic development in 2022, there were some critical remarks. They concerned those areas and specific enterprises that, based on the analysis of the work of the economic complex, need to be given more attention. For example, the governor was interested in the fate of the Svityaz open joint-stock company. Among the pressing ones is the problem in the Cosmos micro-district of residential development, where a dewatering is required. By the way, design organizations are dealing with the issue.

According to the governor, there are plenty of prerequisites for a significant improvement in the socio-economic situation. Among the prospects for the development of industry for this year is the replacement of an obsolete automated line at the dairy canning plant in the canned milk shop. This will affect labor productivity and will make it possible to fulfill the declared volumes of production of high-margin products. The implementation of the investment project at Diaproektor continues. There are reserves to improve the business climate. According to the chairman of the economy committee of the regional executive committee, Igor Aslyuk, the authorities are ready to support initiatives to produce innovative products.

The chairman of the regional executive committee noted that this year the regional center will celebrate its 880th anniversary. "There is an additional reason to work for the benefit of the residents of the city and the region. I expect adequate management decisions from the district's assets that can significantly improve the overall economic climate and the well-being of local residents," he concluded.

Ivan Krupko also visited the agricultural town of Dovsk, got acquainted with its infrastructure, living conditions of people, studied in detail the work of the ITC "Zvonets" with a gross milk yield of 2.1 tons of milk per day. On this and other agricultural enterprises, detailed instructions were given at the meeting, the task was set to expand the raw material base.
