January 2, Mogilev. Summing up the results of 2022, Anatoly Isachenko, Chairman of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee, noted that it has become difficult for the region's economy, but at the same time it has given everyone new opportunities. The governor told a BelTA correspondent about this.
2022 was a difficult period in the life of the country, however, the governor is sure that the pressure of sanctions opens up new opportunities for Belarusian enterprises."The world does not end in Europe, it is important to understand. There is RUSSIA , CHINA, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, African countries and many others. And in cooperation with these countries there is a great potential for development. For example, we began to supply timber to Iran. There are, of course, logistical issues, but all this is being resolved in working mode, he said. - However, paying attention to the economy and the external vector of work, one should not forget about the pressing issues that concern people to a greater extent. Therefore, we pay the closest attention to the social sphere. HEALTH care institutions are being renovated, housing is being built, including for large families, roads and streets are being repaired in the regional center and settlements. All conditions for a full and comfortable life have been created in the region. We will fulfill all construction targets. All of our major investment projects in construction are ongoing: new hospital buildings are under construction,
The Mogilev region has also achieved certain successes in the field of agriculture. "We see positive results in crop production. In animal husbandry, not everything is going the way we want. But we have already reached 100% in MILK sales. Little by little, there is an increase. In the coming year, we should work well in this direction," he said.
Tasks in the appointment of Anatoly Isachenko a little more than a year ago clearly set the President. "My role is to fulfill them. They are extremely simple, but at the same time very complex. These are the dynamic development of the region, ensuring decent wages, maintaining order and discipline, ensuring the work of all sectors of the economy. The functioning of our social sphere directly depends on this: hospitals , educational institutions, road construction, bus service, opening of kindergartens and much more. Therefore, the task was to ensure the systematic development of the region in all directions. And this work should be based on people and their well-being," the governor emphasized.
For 2023, the plans in the region are no less global. "The most important thing that we had to do, and that we have already partially succeeded, is to create a management system where each person will be interested in the development of their region, in the results of labor. Effective managers are needed at all levels. For each person to work for the benefit of people, development of their region. Ideally, the system of work should look like this. Because when this process goes in fits and starts, it will not give the proper result. And when everything is debugged, there will be a result," Anatoly Isachenko is sure.
