July 8, MINSK. The EXPORT of Belarusian food products and agricultural raw materials in January-May 2021 increased by 11.3%, goods worth about $2.5 billion were delivered abroad, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
Belarusian food was supplied to 93 countries of the world in January-May. "An increase in deliveries was observed in almost all regions. Exports to the CIS countries, including the Russian Federation, increased by 6.2%, to Asia and Oceania - by 58.5%, the EU - by 45.7%, America and the Caribbean - by 85.7%, African countries - by 25%. Food exports to CHINA increased by 52.6%. In general, supplies to non-CIS countries increased by 53.3% compared to the corresponding period in 2020," the press said. -service.
Export of MILK and dairy products increased by 9.4%, beef - by 8.3%, sausages - by 33.6%, fish and fish products - by 23.2%, eggs - by 45%, potatoes - by 11, 9%, rapeseed oil - by 83%.
