October 11, Minsk. Exports of Belarusian foodstuffs and agricultural raw materials in January-August increased by 10.8%, goods worth about $4.1 billion were delivered abroad, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.

"In January-August, Belarusian food was supplied to 99 countries of the world. An increase in supplies was observed in almost all regions. Exports to the CIS countries, including the Russian Federation, increased by 6.3%, to Asia and Oceania - by 38.8%, the EU - by 43%, America and the Caribbean - by 61.7%, African countries - by 28.6% Food exports to China increased by 39.7% In general, supplies to non-CIS countries compared to the corresponding period of 2020 increased by 41.7%," the press service said.

Export of milk and dairy products increased by 6.4%, beef - by 15.4%, sausages - by 31.2%, fish and fish products - by 23%, eggs - by 36.6%, potatoes - by 18, 4%, rapeseed oil - by 95.9%.
