August 7, MINSK . High-tech complexes are one of the elements for creating decent jobs in villages. Georgy Grits, professor, candidate of economic sciences, expressed this point of view in the project "In the subject" on BelTA's YouTube channel.

Earlier, during a visit to the Pavlinka robotic dairy complex of the Yubileiny agricultural complex in the Orsha district, the HEAD of state said that the task for agriculture is to get away from farms in a five-year period and build technologically advanced dairy complexes.

“Today there is an outflow of workers and the population from rural areas. The President always says that it is necessary to support the village. And high-tech complexes are one of the elements for creating decent jobs. But there is also an economic aspect. From an economic point of view, large complexes are more productive. By the way, many MEAT and dairy complexes are endowed with land plots," Georgy Grits said.

The economist turned to such an indicator as profitability. "According to statistics, the profitability of small farms with about 100 heads of livestock is up to 10%. At the same time, the profitability of large complexes reaches about 25%. Profitability is a very important factor," he said.

Nevertheless, Georgy Grits added, the production costs of such complexes should be reasonable. "Any money must be returned. It is necessary to support agriculture by various methods , but also understand that the wallet is not bottomless. A high-tech complex implies significant costs. And from this point of view, there are options and reserves for savings," Georgy Grits concluded.

The project was created at the expense of targeted collection for the production of national content.
