Economy, technology, agro-industrial complex: Gomel region and the Republic of Tyva intend to develop cooperation

January 23, October. A protocol of intent for cooperation was signed today between the Republic of Tyva ( RUSSIA ) and the Gomel Regional Executive Committee. The document was signed by the HEAD of the Russian region Vladislav Khovalyg and the chairman of the Gomel regional executive committee Ivan Krupko, BelTA has learned.

The parties reaffirmed their desire to further strengthen friendly relations, which are based on the principles of equality, mutual respect and interest in cooperation, and expressed their desire to develop mutually beneficial ties.

The document determines that long-term cooperation will be built in the areas of economy, trade, science, technology, culture, tourism, sports, healthcare, and other activities.

During negotiations

The partners intend to exchange information about the most significant cultural and international events held in the Gomel region and the Republic of Tyva, about industrial and agricultural organizations, about promising investment projects and other aspects.

Ivan Krupko noted that Russia is a strategic partner for the Gomel region, as well as for Belarus in general. "We are developing different areas (cooperation. - Approx. BelTA)", - the governor stressed. In his opinion, the document signed today will make it possible to find points of contact. For example, it is possible to develop cooperation in supplying Gomselmash with equipment and deliveries of various products.

Another promising area of ​​partnership is the development of high technologies, including in animal husbandry. "Today, the Agrokomplekt enterprise, which is located in the Gomel region, is designing dairy equipment, dairy farms with different volumes of MILK production and different capacities - from 200 to 1200 heads with different types of milking. Technologies are being developed here, in Belarus", - the chairman of the regional executive committee drew attention. The enterprise can accompany from the moment of design to the launch of the farm.

Vladislav Khovalyg stressed that Tyva is an agrarian region: "Accordingly, one of the priorities is the development of agriculture. It is represented by private farms - 80%." The republic intends to develop agricultural production, and for this it is necessary to build MTF, with processing, fodder procurement, etc.

At the meeting, the parties discussed the possibilities of implementing projects in the field of the agro-industrial complex, as well as training and internships for representatives of the Russian region in Belarus.

Ivan Krupko expressed confidence that the signing of the document would give the two regions an additional impetus for development.

Also today, the delegation of Tyva and the leadership of the Gomel region to the mass grave of a native of Tuva - Hero of the Soviet Union Mikhail Bukhtuev and to the place where in 1944 the crew of Dmitry Komarov and Mikhail Bukhtuev made a tank ramming of a German armored train.-0
