September 7, Bereza. The republican socio-political action “Belarus Hell” begins a great political year in the country. This opinion was expressed at the dialogue platform in Bereza by the Chairman of the Russian State Public Organization “Knowledge”, General Director of the National Library of Belarus Vadim Gigin, BELTA reports.

The “Belarus Adzinaya” campaign , initiated by the Belarusian Society “Knowledge”, has been sweeping the country for the third year on the eve of National Unity Day. The initiative, which is important, is supported locally - by executive bodies and leading socio-political organizations. Each promotion has its own characteristics.

“This year is also special - major election campaigns are coming up. In practice, we are talking about the fact that the “Belarus Adzinaya” action begins a big political year. And today we would like to talk with you openly about the political and economic agenda. After all, often in the regions, information the political lens allows us to see many problems in a completely different way,” said Vadim Gigin and invited the meeting participants to share their opinions on current issues.

Together with him, leaders of the largest socio-political associations came to the region - ROO "Belaya Rus", BRSM, Belarusian Women's Union, FPB. "Our task - on the eve of important election campaigns - is to talk with representatives of civil society about issues that concern you. Find out what the information agenda is, how certain regions differ. If you like, compare notes. That is, this is the beginning of an active political year , because The distinctive feature of our model of social development is sincere, lively dialogue and conversation. But it is fundamentally important that we do not have closed topics,” emphasized the moderator of the meeting, Vadim Gigin.

The dialogue platform took place at the Bereza Palace of Culture. The assembly hall, designed for 600 seats, was overcrowded. Representatives of the region's civil society - activists of public organizations and associations, political parties, and labor collectives - gathered here. Both speakers and audience shared their opinions regarding significant socio-political processes and the situation in the country and the world. A wide range of issues were touched upon, which related to the process of re-registration of political parties, the interaction of various public organizations, and the patriotic education of youth.

A lively discussion was sparked by the topic asked by the moderator regarding the events of three years ago in Belarus and how our society has changed during this time. Chairman of the ROO "Belaya Rus" and the Belarusian Party "Belaya Rus" Oleg Romanov expressed the opinion that the causes of the events of 2020 were not economic factors, but ignorance and ingratitude. “Such dialogue platforms are held, among other things, so that people know and appreciate the achievements of their country. Then no external destructive influence will pass,” he noted.

Young people must be educated by personal example, the first secretary of the Central Committee of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union, Alexander Lukyanov, is convinced. “We need to pay special attention to this issue. Don’t leave them alone with gadgets, but communicate on topics that are important to them. It seems to me that the population has clearly realized the risks of 2020. Dramatic events along our southern borders have shown this. I am confident that we will succeed. The Belarusian Republican Youth Union has this slogan: only together and only forward,” said the youth leader.

According to the deputy chairman of the FPB, Vadim Grachev, the referendum became a kind of marker of the maturation and improvement of the Belarusian society. “People went and supported the changes to the Constitution consciously. And they didn’t just take photographs of themselves with their families at polling stations, but posted them on social networks. That is, people believed, felt that they were the masters here. And there is no need to be ashamed of their flag, anthem and fear of what -bullying. It seems to me that this kind of psychological maturation has happened to our society. Therefore, there is optimism that all our campaigns will go well," the trade union leader shared.

“Sometimes, in order to understand what you are losing, you need to get into trouble yourself. I am sure that in five years the flow of those who left will begin in the opposite direction. Because people who live abroad for a long time encounter not only positive moments in these societies, but also with a reality that is far from what it seems from afar. These people, as a rule, live with longing in their hearts for their homeland. This lives in us, Slavs. This is close to us, and this is what we absorb with mother's milk. I am convinced of this. Therefore, it seems to me that after 2020, each of us understands that we have something to lose in a global sense. And in a global sense, this means losing ourselves," the chairman of the Belarusian Women's Union summed up the discussion, Head of the representative office of MTRK "Mir" Olga Shpilevskaya.
