November 21, MINSK. Participants of the Country Speaks project on the BelTA YouTube channel told how Belarusian farmers work.

"Agrarians are those people who are selflessly devoted to their work. Everyone who works in agriculture is initially aimed at getting a result, that is, bread, MEAT, MILK. Additional stimulation in the form of increased wages, of course, will not hurt anyone "But regardless of the circumstances, the farmers go out and do their work. They perfectly understand that they need to sow, get results, harvest grain and do it on time. To do this, you need to leave earlier and work later. All day long, everyone is busy, and the work goes on conveyor one after another, the chain does not stop from early spring to late autumn. In processing, this work is generally around the clock and all year round, "- said Elena Filipovich, HEAD of the Department of Intensification of Crop Production of the Committee for Agriculture and Food of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee.

Nikolai Khilko, Deputy DIRECTOR for Agriculture of the Unitary Enterprise "Borisov Grain Plant" of JSC "Minskoblkhleboprodukt" Nikolay Khilko added: "I have many specific examples when people really showed labor heroism. I remember the situation when, during the harvesting of fodder crops, the farm was finishing silo trench, people were working, they were tired, it was already getting dark, some were already starting to pack up and a machine operator came up to me. He told me: "Nikolai Pavlovich, whatever you want, and we must finish it today." units are coming, I did not stimulate them, they themselves came and expressed their desire. This is a very good example of how people who work in the countryside sometimes and even often show heroism. This is their fate, they chose this profession.

In turn, the head of the Berkeley farm, deputy of the Brest City Council Alexander Berezin stressed that farmers are responsible for the food security of Belarus. “It’s impossible without such people. Today, many have realized that we don’t have to rely on the West, and in this respect no one is going to help us. Thank God, the Russians have given us a shoulder in this regard. And, of course, people have understood that we need to work and then it will be rewarded," he said.

The project was created at the expense of targeted collection for the production of national content.
