The sowing campaign, which started actively in early April, quickly came to an end. In just a few weeks, the farmers planted all the main crops. In time, they coped with the task at JSC "Kukhchitsy" in the Kletsk district. How the field work went and why there is practically no staff turnover on the farm - in the report of our correspondent.

JSC "Kukhchitsy" from year to year is famous for its high performance and honored workers. The year 2022 has become quite successful for the company. The team managed to surpass the performance of previous years in almost all crops. According to the HEAD of the enterprise Sergey Zdrok, this became possible thanks to well-coordinated work and focus on results.

- Indeed, if we analyze the statistical indicators of the last year, they are actually very good, - says the head of the enterprise. Let's look at the yield. The grain wedge yielded 83 centners per hectare. Nearly 59 centners from the circle brought rapeseed. Barley ugly even better. The average yield was 94 centners per hectare. So far, this is a record for us. However, as we see, far from transcendental. We still have the capacity and knowledge to improve both numbers and product quality. We will strive for new achievements.

Winter in Kukhchitsy passed normally. During the cold period, specialists focused on the preparation of equipment, the purchase of fertilizers and other activities, without which the sowing campaign is impossible.

In short, we did a good job. This made it possible to enter the fields in time and start work. Winter preparation is one of the key factors for the success of the harvesting campaign as a whole, - Sergey Zdrok is sure.

And this means that work in the fields of OJSC "Kukhchitsy" is in full swing from early morning until late evening. These days it is hot on every plot of arable land. Dozens of pieces of equipment are engaged in soil preparation, sowing, and processing of crops that have already sprouted.

- I am 23 years old. Recently graduated from the Agricultural University in Grodno. Although I myself am from the Gomel region, I am very glad that I ended up in the Kletsk region. And I am even more glad that it was Kukhchitsy who became the first place of work. I will not hide: the work is very difficult. The manager always asks for each indicator, the quality of work. Sometimes you have to work from morning until late at night. However, the return is appropriate. I am provided with housing, a good salary and, most importantly, a very interesting job that requires non-standard solutions every day. I think that I was in the perfect place to start my career. I will do my best to live up to the manager's expectations.

Alexey connects his career in the coming years with the Kukhchitsy. According to the agronomist, there is everything for self-realization here. Further professional growth is also possible.

- However, you need to prove your worth, which is what I strive for. Other than that, I really like the management. You are given clear tasks, trust. This, if I may say so, inspires accomplishments. It sounds trite, but we go to work like a holiday , - Alexey says goodbye.

The machine operator Viktor Sitko, who sowed peas during our visit , has been working in Kukhchitsy for more than a decade. However, like Aleksey, he notes the exceptional working conditions at the enterprise.

– What else do you need? Equipment is repaired on time, spare parts are always available. Tasks are set clearly and on time. Salary is on par. These factors motivate you to work with full dedication every day. We have confidence in the future, and this means a lot in our turbulent times,” the agrarian argues.

A few kilometers away, the machine operator Mikhail Veligan is busy sowing beets. And the preparation of the soil is carried out by Anatoly Shkutko.

- The land after the winter must be brought into a conditional condition. The growth of crops depends on its quality, density and other parameters. These moments cannot be ignored. Otherwise, you can miss a decent amount of the crop , - explains the machine operator.

Today, agriculture, along with other sectors of the economy, is a high-tech production. One of the latest innovations that farmers across the country are actively introducing is the precision farming system. As Sergei Zdrok explains, it greatly facilitates the work of machine operators.

– The system has proved its effectiveness in practice. In fact, with the help of a small on-board computer, a specialist behind the wheel of a tractor or combine sees the entire cultivated area. Thus, the human factor is practically eliminated. Satellite equipment shows the field at a glance. And, for example, the machine operator will not be able to forget to sow or accidentally miss any part of the field. All areas are used as efficiently as possible, - says the head of JSC "Kukhchitsy".

How the system works is visible to the naked eye. While we are approaching the place of future potato sowing, the DIRECTOR draws attention to the perfectly even rows of the field - as if under a ruler. Mechanic Leonid Sidorenko is working on the field behind the wheel of an energy-saturated "Belarus".

– I recently came to Kukhchitsy, I used to work in another farm in the region. For me, a new place is like a challenge. In a good way. When you see how recognized aces of agrarian business work, you start working on your skills, striving for the best. And I also note the technical equipment. All tractors and mechanisms are in very good condition. Working is a pleasure.

Speaking about the precision farming system, the machine operator draws attention to its intuitiveness.

– It’s not difficult to figure it out, even if you haven’t dealt with such a technique yet. Indeed, this is a great help. We are all human, and sometimes we can make a mistake. With new technologies, the probability of error is reduced to a minimum,” explains the machine operator.

The farm occupies one of the leading positions in the region in terms of milk yield.

– On average, one cow produces 23.7 liters of milk per day. This is a serious indicator. But here, as in crop production, we have room to strive. Every day we send 34.5 tons for processing, which is 6 tons more than last year. In the structure of the enterprise there is a dairy farm "Kukhchitsy" with robotic milking, where we get more than 33 kg of milk from a cow per day, - the head of the enterprise operates with figures.

Raw materials are sent for processing to Kletsk. There is no doubt about the "marketability" of raw materials. According to Andrey Shendor, a livestock specialist, all conditions have been created on the farms to achieve high milk yields.

“ Working with animals is quite specific. Everyone needs to be treated with attention and even awe, - the specialist explains.

By the way, the history of zootechnics is rather unusual. After graduation, the young man went to try his luck in the capital. A few years later, he decided to return to his native land, he came to find a job in Kukhchitsy. Fortunately, Andrey has already received the appropriate education.

- I think that the day when I came to the farm, perhaps the best in my life. Everything is simple. If you deliver results, you get a well-deserved salary. OJSC "Kukhchitsy" is an excellent example of a competent organization of work in the agricultural sector, - says the livestock specialist.

Sowing work on the fields of JSC "Kukhchitsy" is almost completed. And very soon the equipment will come to the arable land. The spring campaign will start traditionally: with winter crops , which were sown last autumn.

“There are difficult months of trials ahead,” the head of the enterprise draws attention. – In addition, related work will be carried out on the processing of fields, do not forget about grass cuttings, which are extremely important in the context of forage security. In fact, in the coming weeks, the work will be extremely intensive, - says the director of the enterprise.

Sergei Zdrok, however, is in no hurry to think about specific figures. The most important thing is to complete all tasks on time.

- Of course, we are always happy if the weather favors. It is also an important factor in the final result. Nevertheless, we rely solely on our own strength. We have the knowledge, skills and experience. We put all this into practice. We will do everything to ensure that the 2023 harvest is not lower than the level of 2022,” Sergey Zdrok concluded.

And OJSC "Kukhchitsy" is no exception. There are enough young people here. Every year, the enterprise is replenished with several specialists at once, who graduated from educational institutions and went here for distribution or a permanent place of work.

The company also has a strong social component. Regularly for holidays and important dates, employees receive cash payments. Sports competitions are held, employees take part in the life of the region. To interest a person to gain a foothold in the economy, they pay the so-called lifting. However, the head of the enterprise does not reveal all the secrets, however, the conditions that are created for employees are impressive. Just the average salary is enough. She recently crossed the mark of 1900 rubles. Not every metropolitan resident can boast of such earnings. Interestingly, over the past 6 years, the wage rate has increased by more than 1,200 rubles.

- I will note an important fact. Our salary is not just accrued. People in the economy earn money . There are many possibilities for this. The main thing is the desire to work, achieve new heights and constantly develop. And we, of course, guarantee conditions and decent wages.

However, there are many requirements for the team. First of all, we are talking about the precise execution of tasks.

As a leader, I am extremely demanding. On the other hand, in such a sphere as agriculture, it will not work otherwise. That is why I want to see in my team only purposeful people who want to succeed. At the forefront is discipline. This is the only way to achieve your goals and think about development. Those who want to connect their lives with the agrarian business understand that the work is not office work, without a clear schedule and, admittedly, very difficult, - Serhiy Zdrok emphasizes.

The construction of the second stage of the Iskra dairy complex is going on at Kukhchitsy OJSC. The commissioning of capacities will significantly increase the number of dairy herds and, as a result, increase the financial revenue of the enterprise.

JSC "Kukhchitsy" employs 260 people. Many dynasties work at the enterprise, the total work experience of which is tens of years old.

The farm has its own canteen. During field work, hot meals are delivered to machine operators directly to the fields.

In 2022, JSC "Kukhchitsy" grew an impressive amount of potatoes -

11,050 tons with a yield of 470 centners per hectare. On the experimental field, it was possible to obtain about

660 centners "from the circle". By the way, potatoes are one of the most promising crops for the enterprise.

– With the right approach, the second bread can give a good return on the scale of the enterprise. Including financial. We take potatoes very seriously. This is not a side crop, but the most profitable per hectare, - Sergey Zdrok notes.
