The deputies are preparing an appeal to the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) to take control of the increase in prices for PCR tests and antibody tests for covid-19 . This was stated by the HEAD of the Committee on Information Policy, State Duma Deputy Alexander Khinshtein in TELEGRAM.

“We are preparing an appeal to the Federal Antimonopoly Service: to take the situation under special control, check the pricing mechanism and prevent a rise in prices,” the deputy wrote.

Since mid-June, an increase in demand for PCR tests and antibody tests in private laboratories has been recorded in RUSSIA. The growth of calls to Invitro was 150%, Nina Oreshkina, DIRECTOR of public relations for the company, told RBC. Now demand has grown more significantly than during the beginning of the previous wave of COVID-19 in the fall of 2020, she noted. The growing interest of Russians in tests was also confirmed in the Helix and Hemotest laboratories.
