September 29, MINSK . The Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange plans to establish more active interaction with enterprises of the agro-industrial complex of the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation, both in the supply of grain and oilseeds to Belarus , and in the EXPORT of Belarusian feed additives and dairy products. This was stated by Deputy HEAD of the BUTB Agricultural Products Trading Department Alexander Shvedov during a practical seminar for Krasnodar agricultural producers, BelTA was told in the BUTB press service.
The event was organized with the assistance of the Export Support Center of the Krasnodar Territory, with which BUCE has a cooperation agreement.Talking about the capabilities of the exchange trading platform, the BUCE representative focused on the wide geography of exports of agricultural goods. Thus, in January - September 2023, Belarusian bidders supplied agricultural products to 13 countries, and the top five main markets included RUSSIA , Switzerland , Estonia, Kazakhstan and Lithuania. As for the structure of export transactions, the largest volume of sales was provided by rapeseed oil - almost 46% of the total volume of agricultural exports. Beet pulp and molasses, dairy products and wet blue leather were also in high demand among foreign buyers.
“One of the advantages of the Belarusian exchange platform is the opportunity to enter into transactions not only with companies from Belarus, but also with counterparties from third countries. Moreover, according to statistics for 9 months of this year, Russian enterprises are most actively using the transit potential of the exchange. I believe that for for Krasnodar agricultural producers, this is also a very promising area of work on the exchange platform,” emphasized Alexander Shvedov.
OJSC "Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange" was created in 2004. The first auction took place in June 2005. BUCE is one of the largest commodity exchanges in Eastern Europe. The main function of the exchange is to assist Belarusian enterprises in exporting products and assist foreign companies in entering the Belarusian market. The exchange sells metal, timber, agricultural products , industrial and consumer goods of a wide range.
Based on the results of January - September 2023, the amount of transactions concluded at BUCE by business entities in the Krasnodar Territory increased more than 10 times. The basis of exchange trade between Belarus and this region of the Russian Federation was woodworking products , building materials, grains and amino acids.
