October, MINSK. Belarusian agricultural producers and processors plan to exceed $6 billion of Belarusian food exports. Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Aleksey Bogdanov announced this on the air of the TV channel, BelTA informs.
According to Aleksey Bogdanov, for 8 months of this year Belarus exported its agricultural products to various countries for $4.1 million. This is 10.8% more than last year. "We plan to exceed $6 billion of Belarusian food exports by the end of the year," he said.
Regarding the possible impact of European sanctions, the deputy minister noted that Belarus had long ago "diversified its foreign trade package in such a way that it would be impossible for any country to do something against us." "And no sanctions will affect us," Aleksey Bogdanov is convinced. He cited remarkable statistics: the supply of Belarusian food to the EU increased by 43%.In addition, the direction of the CIS countries, the Asian vector, is now actively developing. This year, compared to last year, exports to CHINA increased by 40% (delivered for $216 million).
The Deputy Minister has recently returned from Vladivostok, where the festival "Days of the Republic of Belarus in the Primorsky Territory" is held during the week. On the main square of Vladivostok, utility, agricultural and construction equipment of machine-building plants was put up. A cultural program and sports events were organized. Food producers also offered their products to residents and guests of the city. Food products were presented by 11 domestic enterprises, including confectionery, MILK processing, MEAT processing plants.
"This event was aimed at enabling residents to try the goods. The effect, I think, will be explosive. And we will increase the volume of supplies to this Far Eastern region many times over," said Alexei Bogdanov.
As early as last year, according to him, the supply of products to this region increased by 60-63%, food was exported in the amount of more than $2.1 million. At the same time, dairy products prevailed.
Recently, interaction with large and local retail chains has been increasing (for example, the Kobrin Butter and CHEESE FACTORY agreed on the supply of dry mixes for the production of soft ice cream, which is served through freezers in retail chains), the range of Belarusian goods presented in Primorye is expanding.
"For 8 months we have already reached last year's level - $2 million, which is 34% more than in general for the whole of last year, - said Alexey Bogdanov. - The volumes will continue to multiply".
In general, in RUSSIA this year the task is to maintain the volume of deliveries at the level of last year.
