Belarusian enterprises at the exhibition in Dubai signed contracts for more than $4 million

February 28, MINSK. Belarusian enterprises at the food industry exhibition Gulfood in Dubai signed contracts for more than $4 million, BelTA learned from Belinterexpo of the BelCCI.

The Rogachev Dairy Plant signed an agreement of intent with a UAE resident company for the supply of canned MILK products in the range for an estimated amount of $500,000. The company also held negotiations with companies from Singapore, Kenya, New Zealand, Libya and CHINA . The possibilities of supplying condensed milk were discussed with the networks of Qatar. A company from Saudi Arabia has expressed particular interest in condensed milk with the addition of natural coffee, and negotiations are underway on the price of products.

Babushkina Krynka OJSC , the managing company of the Mogilev Dairy Company Babushkina Krynka holding, following the results of the exhibition, negotiated the supply of dairy products to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, India, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Israel. The company also reached agreements with Indonesia on the shipment of dry milk in the amount of $945 thousand.

In addition, the business of Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Syria, Turkey, as well as entrepreneurs from Iraq and Ghana, were interested in baby food from Volkovysk OJSC "Bellakt". Preliminary agreements have been reached on the supply of powdered milk to China with a total value of about $2 million.

Kommunarka Confectionery has agreed to supply products to Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, Palestine, Pakistan and India. The interest of the visitors of the exhibition was aroused by the novelty of the Belarusian factory - protein candies without SUGAR. The Slonim MEAT Processing Plant held talks with companies from Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates, New Zealand, Uzbekistan, China, Azerbaijan and Egypt, and the Volkovysk Meat Processing Plant held talks with potential partners from China, Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Uzbekistan and CANADA. In total, Belarusian enterprises signed contracts for more than $4 million at the exhibition.

Representatives of 12 Belarusian enterprises came to strengthen their positions in the markets of other countries and confirm the high quality of products.

The exposition presented a wide range of products: meat products, semi-finished products, canned food, baby food, confectionery. New production items were also presented - powdered milk mixtures, beef steaks, sugar-free protein candies.

More than 5 thousand companies from 125 countries took part in the exhibition. For the eighth year in a row, Belarus presented the exposition of Belarusian manufacturers Belarus - The Taste of Nature.
