MINSK . The first exchange contract for the supply of beef offal to Kyrgyzstan was concluded at the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of BUCE.
The seller was a
MEAT processing plant from the Minsk Region, and the buyer was a Kyrgyz food importer accredited at BUCE in June 2025. As a result, the geography of exchange exports of Belarusian meat products expanded to six countries, and the largest buyers at the end of seven months were
RUSSIA ,
Uzbekistan and
CHINA .
"In January-July of this year, meat products accounted for 22% of all agricultural exports through the exchange platform. In monetary terms, this is $153 million, which is 11 times more than for the same period last year. The lion's share of sales is frozen and chilled semi-finished beef products - over 80% of the total volume of
EXPORT deliveries. In addition, by-products, animal fats and endocrine-enzyme raw materials are actively sold abroad through the exchange. The demand for Belarusian meat products is high, and if two years ago, in fact, the only buyer was the Russian Federation, today, companies from Uzbekistan,
China , Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan regularly conclude transactions at exchange trades," the exchange's press service said.
At the moment, 37 residents of Kyrgyzstan are accredited at BUCE. In January-July 2025, they made exchange transactions for a total of $5.5 million, thereby exceeding the figure for January-July
2024 by 32%. At the exchange trades, Kyrgyz participants mainly bought Belarusian dry
MILK , butter
and sawn timber.
