Belarus is interested in increasing export supplies of agricultural products to Qatar

July 9, MINSK. Belarus is interested in increasing exports of agricultural products to Qatar, BelTA informs citing the TELEGRAM channel of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.

Minister of Agriculture and Food Ivan Krupko held a working meeting with Chargé d'Affaires of the State of Qatar in Belarus Al-Attiya Meshaal. During the meeting, the parties reviewed the state and prospects for the development of trade and economic relations between the two countries.

“Belarus is interested in increasing exports of agricultural products to the Qatari market: dry dairy products, butter, whole MILK products, poultry MEAT, FLOUR and other goods,” the press service noted. “Participation in exhibitions held in Belarus and Qatar".

The ministry noted that the EXPORT of agricultural products and food products to Qatar in 2020 amounted to $292.2 thousand. Mainly, canned fish products, whey, condensed and dry cream, milk , etc. were supplied.

In January - May 2021, the export of food products and agricultural raw materials to Qatar amounted to $116.5 thousand. The basis of supplies was canned fish products, etc.
