Belarus is interested in increasing the volume of supplies of a wide range of food products to Pakistan. He told reporters about this
Minister of Agriculture and Food Anatoly Linevich after completing negotiations on the development of relations in the field of agriculture with the parliamentary delegation of Pakistan, BELTA correspondent reports.
"We supply dairy products to Pakistan, including
MILK powder ,
cottage cheese ,
cheeses and more. We import mainly rice and citrus fruits from Pakistan for the domestic market,” said the
HEAD of the department. “We intend to increase the volume of mutual trade and, by the way, this year they have already increased.”
Following the negotiations, Anatoly Linevich also noted that the Pakistani delegation showed interest in cooperation with the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus in the agricultural sector. Pakistan is seeking to use the Belarusian experience to increase the yield of cultivated crops. “We see that we can lend a hand in this direction,” the minister concluded.
In turn, the Belarusian side demonstrates its intention to increase the volume of supplies of its food products to Pakistan.
The Minister of Agriculture and Food added that for this purpose, domestic ones. enterprises are striving to obtain a Halal certificate, which will allow Belarusians to supply
MEAT products to the Pakistani market.
“The Pakistanis are also extremely interested in our specialists in the agro-industrial complex to work with them and share their experience,” summarized Anatoly Linevich.
