November 23, MINSK. Belarus expects to increase food exports to CHINA to $1 billion by the end of the five-year period. This was stated by the Minister of Agriculture and Food Ivan Krupko in the program "Conversation with the President" on the TV channel, BelTA informs.

"A lot of attention is paid to the certification of enterprises and increasing the volume of deliveries to China. Based on the results of the five-year period, we should reach sales volumes of up to $1 billion in the Chinese market. Today, we mainly supply China with beef, poultry, MILK and dairy products," he said. Ivan Krupko.

In general, it is planned to increase the EXPORT of Belarusian food to $7 billion in the coming years. "In order to increase deliveries in such volumes, we need to concentrate on the production of products. We rely on the production of milk, MEAT, we are looking at what other products we can increase," the minister said.

According to the results of 9 months of this year, Belarusian food exports increased by 12.6% and exceeded $4.7 billion. Foreign exchange earnings increased by $529 million in 9 months. Belarusian food is supplied to more than 100 countries. The main share of exports falls on the CIS countries (including RUSSIA). At the same time, deliveries to non-CIS countries are growing rapidly. "At the end of the year, we expect $6.1 billion in exports," Ivan Krupko added.
